"Absolutely miserable helping of Halloumi Sticks. Almost 10 dollars for 4 rubbery chunks of very salty, juicy fruit gum sized cheese hunks. Wraps were fine. Dont get the Halloumi Sticks, waste of money."

Alberni Sushi

"I've ordered from here a few times and their food is delicious! the rolls are big, and the many raw items have wonderful texture and taste. The Rainbow Roll is my favourite. I've had quite a few of the different nigiri and the pieces of fish/other seafood are always very big and delicious! I wish there were more rolls with roe on top, but the Live Roll came with roe (still don't know what the "sauce is" lol, but it's delicious and slightly spicy) which was a pleasant surprise."

"All the food was great. The sunflower roll was something new to me and very enjoyable. The sushi pizza was the first time I have ever had it and really good and I recommend giving it try if you have not had it yet. Overall I have always had good experienceswith the food a Alberni Sushi. There are times that things are not as good as they normally are, but that can happen at any restaurant. Even the betst cooks can have hard days, so keep that in mind when eating here or anywhere else. I love how big the menu is at Alberni Sushi, always something different to chose from. Every time I eat in there I always get great service as well, so it is worth going in to eat to take in the atmosphere there. Theyre great competition for theother sushiand Asian restaurants in town which I recommend also supporting as much as Alberni Sushi 😊"
