If we were not running for our lives from Californicator's trying to turn my hometown into Oakland, CA circa 1985 (fast food served through bulletproof glass), I would probably be ordering a lot as long as they keep this quality level up. The Treatin' Myself Melt was interesting and the pound cake slices were slightly stale, but overall not terrible. "The flavor of the food was OK, but the portion size was really small. I ordered Pad Kee Mao with pork. When I order this dish elsewhere, it usually comes with lots of vegetables and meat and broad, fresh rice nooodles. The dish from Thai Charlie's had very few vegetables (I counted five pieces of broccoli and saw one mushroom) an the noodles were slightly wider than usual and had clearly been dried and cooked. There was a good ratio of pork in the dish, but honestly, I was still hungry after eating because the portion was just not what I expected for $18.
I also ordered orange chicken, which was fine, but also a pretty small portion size for the price, and much blander than I expected. It wasn't really savory or sweet, which I would expect from Orange chicken. I don't think we'll be ordering from here again"

Not only did it not even closely resembles a tamale it had an unrecognizable taste that put me off food for a few hours. I don't know what that was but I don't recommend it.
Overall it was a mixed bag. Some really good and some REALLY bad. Stick to the tacos and enchiladas, beans and rice and you should be good. I wish I had ordered a plain flour tortilla. They are good for cleansing your palate and I could use something to get rid of the awful taste of that “tamale” ,🥰🤮"

"Ordered a full size cheese steak sub. The bread was awesome! So soft. Perfectly grilled and delicious, as was the meat and veggies. My problem is that a "full sub", had only the meat that you'd expect in a "half sub"! I'm used to the way we got them in Boston...absolutely LOADED with meat and veggies. This was skimpy, stingy, and deeply disappointing. No matter how good it tasted...I'm not paying $20 for a sandwich with nothing much in it. I feel ripped off, and disappointed. STOP BEING STINGY with your sandwiches!"

"This place is always good! We've gone in person. Nice people. Good food. Today I ordered on DoorDash and got the Breakfast Burger which we're impressed to find out they had gluten free buns! Great for my kiddo who has problems with gluten. Now theyre definitely our favorite place. Pancake Breakfast's were delicious as usual. Portions for everything are large. The pancakes are the size of a dinner plate. Tummys are very full and happy. Highly recommend. "
"I have a new favorite breakfast place! Omelette with mushrooms and cheddar was fluffy and delicious! Country potatoes were a nice change from hash browns and the seasonal fruit was equal to what a 5 star restaurant would serve! Not the usual chunks of melon, but included fresh blueberries, strawberries, green grapes, orange slices, topped with a layer of sliced, fresh bananas. Can't wait to try other dishes! YumMEE!!!"
