This order of Branzino was a grilled filet with mixed vegetables (zucchini, yellow squash, diced carrots and a little spinach) - all lightly seasoned with a lemon butter. The side salad looks fresh and refreshing; however, is missing the salad dressing. The meal came with hush puppies which were heavy and doughy. The crab soup doesn't look like it was the ordered bowl. The soup and the Cobbler look appetizing...will have to try later...too full. There were no utensils or napkins. I would cautiously order more in future."

"Eddie Merlot’s dishes are often about taking a good, but slightly average dish, and making it spectacular. It is a challenging undertaking often requiring bold choices. On Nov 2, the star of the show was the carrot cake. A generous slice with perfect spice and texture and none of the extra chewy or crunchy bites that can make me wince. Cream cheese frosting that can hardly be described - it is cream cheese, my head knows that. My tastebuds know it’s sweet. The only explanation I have for its seemingly superior taste is that it complements the cake between four layers - although as we ordered doordash, it came through as eight and it took us two days to get through it - as perfect on the second evening as it was on the first. The rest of the meal was between good and Very nice. The cake was a memory one can only hope to repeat one day."
