If I didn't have the Slate Edge + Dashpass, it would've been $56.00(ish) pre-tip. Compared to area Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, and Kentucky Fried Chicken... Bojangles blows them all our of the water, though. The quality & consistency *does* reflect in the price, but it's still "fast food" and shouldn't cost *more* than eating at a "mid", but fresh restaurant. But PLEASE make some more reasonably priced family packs OR run promos OR have rewards like "$X Reward once you spend $X over time" like other places do. "I've never had Bojangles am not at all a fast food person. I tried Popeyes twice in our area and both times it was disgusting. I used to like KFC (mostly for the sides) but haven't been to one in years, so I figured it would be fun to order a family pack with just white meat. I got the tenders and the classic fried chicken. It was AMAZING. My teen HATES fried chicken (which is why I got the tenders), but he actually ate some and came back for more. They were very thin, runny, and flavorless. I tried the white gravy (for the first time in my life) and won't be doing that again. The potatoes should be thick & fluffy. We threw ours away. If there was a brown gravy option, I might try them again in case I just got unlucky, but the gravy was flavorless & runny, too. I had to get some beverages because we were low and the prices are outrageous on their drinks. The prices overall are probably "reasonable" given how large the big family packs are, but I still had to add extra sides, so I paid over $100.00 and there's only 2 of us. BUT. A hungry, picky 18 y/o teen boy and I were able to get 3 meals out of it. Full meals. The chicken even heated up well in the oven (usually the breading would get soggy) and was high quality. Everything tasted so...fresh. Nothing like Popeyes and I think I'm sold that it's better than the best KFC, too.
