Today 1/1/25 I finally decided to purchase their Oxtail for dinner cause I'm not cooking on no New Year ....LISTEN TO ME thus Oxtail is well seasoned and cooked to perfection ...no exaggeration. I'm a born Jamaican 🇯🇲 so mi know good cooked food especially what you're used to back home. I've been sleeping on TOP TASTE all these years . You get a good amount of Oxtail for your money ...the plantains are done well and not overdone ..cabbage nice gravy done to perfection 🥰 . I used to buy my Oxtail at the other Jamaican spot nearby but mi done wid dem cause dem food dry and nasty . "First time trying this restaurant. I really wanted stew chicken. The chicken was tender and nice sized pieces for the price. The flavor of the chicken was ok but not wow this is really good. I the rice was ok as well, different than the regular riceand peas. The steamed cabbage was mushy, water, with huge pieces from the middle of the cabbage and no flavor at all; it tasted like nothing. Overall the meal was just ok. "

"I definitely want to give "my new spot" a special shout out. I had the privilege of eating at this great restaurant. In order to see how good the food taste, I order a few different meals. I first ordered a steam Snapper meal with provisions instead of rice and beans, to see how they were going to customize my meal. Next, I ordered a breakfast meal in the late afternoon. The dish was Ackee and Saltfiah with provisions. Lastly I ordered a chicken soup to see how they were going to make it. I must admit, this restaurant went up and beyond my expectations, with the presentation, taste, and customer service. The servings were so plentiful, I shared it with my wife, who almost fought me to get the food after she tasted it, LOL. Although they didn't have the cooked banana that I requested at the time, that doesn't take anything away from them. I recommend this restaurant if you want good authentic tasting Jamaican/Caribbean food. I would know... with family in Jamaica! 👍🏿"
