My other Jamaican spot that had a really good-sized snapper dinners for $34 (and their fish was really good) stopped serving fish altogether (maybe due to cost or supply chain issues?), but I had a hankering for escoveitch (and felt too lazy to make my own) so I decided to try HM's again. The peas and rice was good as always (and there was a lot of it), and the fish was cooked well but just ok flavor wise tho the pickle was tasty and worked when eaten together of course. "for a single item running me over $20, i was served more broth from the beans than anything--maybe 6 total pieces of the grilled chicken. Overall the bowl was super watery past the point of enjoying. The bowl itself was so wet it was falling apart. pretty disappointed.
