"An absolute must-try in Springfield; this is my favorite place for authentic, fresh, and delicious Indian food. My go-to for comfort food or something different. The care in which this restaurant takes in preparing the food from start to finish is something I don't often see in this town. Portion sizes are also great for the money. There is always enough leftover for my lunch the next day. If I could give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would! "

The chai was delivered in a small, 6-oz cup, and I can make it better at home. I ordered the chai because when I've ordered it from other Indian food restaurants in the past, it was better than I could make at home. For what I paid for it and its size, it should have been a vast improvement on what I could brew myself.
I'm no stranger to chicken korma. I've had it several times in the past from family-owned restaurants here in Springfield and other towns. I was disappointed by the overly spiced, runny sauce, which contained only four pieces of chicken.
I had to order the rice separately, which I never had to with other Indian food restaurants that I have frequented. It was flavorless, which was disappointing. Of course, plenty of rice was provided, but I don't think it's worth charging almost $6 for.
The garlic naan was okay. The garlic was too subtle for me, I hardly tasted it. It was soggy from being wrapped in foil, and it's one piece of naan cut in half.
The gulab jamun was good, but I was dismayed to see that there were only two pieces, which were smaller in size than a Tootsie Roll pop.
I spent about $54 here, excluding tip and delivery fee, and was utterly disappointed. I thought I'd try a new Indian food place, and this was just a dismal experience. "
