"Wow. We ordered the fettuccini bolognese, veal piccata and the chicken and fettuccini alfredo for our 16th wedding anniversary. My husband is half Italian and was raised by his Italian mom to exceptional Italian cooking. We both LOVED our entrees. Pasta was perfectly cooked. Bolognese is just like Nonna's. Bread and olive oil/balsamic was the perfect starter. Son loved his Alfredo. The veal piccata was divine-- just the right amount of salty, lemony goodness. Not overpowering at all. This is GREAT Italian. This place is not for Olive Garden folks, so if that's what you like, then you will need to re-educate your palate. This is the real deal. Buon appetito! "The gnocchi bolognese used to be my favorite thing on the menu. It was melt in your mouth perfect. It's been a while since we've ordered from Caffe Italiano and it seems they've changed the gnocchi. It looks, tastes and feels like the shelf stable packages you can buy at the store. The sauce is still delicious though. First time ordering the caprese salad and it was a bit shocking to receive 3 slices of tomato and 3 slices of mozzarella for $21. Salmon picatta was beyond over cooked. Disappointing experience compared to the quality in the past."
