I ordered the Chicken Shawerma Arabic Style and I actually considered that bad review a positive because I tend to like sour things and figured they were just being a baby about it. Well, it was too sour for me. The chicken was a bit mushy and seemed like it was boiled. The two sauces were a fry sauce and a very sweet tamirind type sauce. Neither was my favorite and I didn't feel like either one complimented the shawarma. "

"I remember eating naan when I was in the military, and it was always something special for me and my guys. I’ve truly missed that taste—until I found Sinbad’s. The naan here is outstanding, perfectly made with that authentic, traditional flavor. Honestly, it feels extremely underpriced at just $8. I almost felt bad paying so little because it’s easily worth $10–$15.
Beyond the incredible food, the atmosphere in the shop is amazing. I don’t know much Arabic beyond ordering bread and a few greetings, but the two women working there welcomed me in without hesitation. They were probably two of the hardest-working people I’ve ever seen in Utah, and their dedication shows in every bite.
To have such an authentic taste of Iraqi food here is, to be honest, emotional for me. Sinbad’s brought back memories in the best way, and I can’t recommend it enough.

They've created a taste that's unique and I haven't found it anywhere else. Think of that old Colonel but skip those 11 simples. This place isn't subtle, and with their hearty portions, it's a great introduction into more spices and herbs you didn't even think about. I always order the Curry Fried Chicken Plate (no pita, extra lentils :)) because it's my tried and true friend on every night of the week. Not kidding. Every. Night. That means consistency. This place has great food over and over again.

Everything (meat, rice, spinach side, the chicken eggplant dish) seemed to taste the same, really salty and oily. The combo kabob box bottom was drenched and leaking with oil. The rice was saturated with orange oil. If this is the norm there are better meat rice options in town."
