"If you can get past the name of this place, I highly recommend it! Just know that this is NOT Texas BBQ and as far as I can tell, the meat's not even barbecued but grilled. The "Chicken & Tenders" Family Meal is a pretty good value. FAR MORE CHICKEN (& more biscuits) than you get with the equivalently priced family meal at KFC or at Popeye's.
Chicken is very tasty, moist, & the deep-fry batter/coating is not overwhelming. ...it ADDS to the taste of the delicious chicken, instead of over-powering it.
Biscuits are TO DIE FOR! FAR BETTER than the dry "hockey pucks" that KFC & Popeye's serve.
Wedge Fries are excellent. ...not overly greasy, don't get soggy, & leftovers should reheat well.
