"I got the small Teriyaki Karaage Bowl and Yum Yum Crispy Chicken Bowl. The portion size is good for a small size and adequately filling. It came with 4 to 5 pieces of fried chicken pieces and the sauce was drizzled on top. The bowl came with a side salad with dressing and pickled sushi ginger.
The chicken pieces were fine. They taste kinda like the frozen, fully cooked, seasoned chicken bites from costco that were fried and then drizzled with sauce.
The teriyaki sauce was a bit too sweet for my preference. It did give the chicken pieces a beautiful glaze but I felt the soy sauce flavor was a bit lacking.
The yum yum sauce was also sweet. To me, it tastes quite similar to the thin-sweet mayo used for the prawn/shrimp in the famous honey walnut prawns dish.
The side salad and ginger were normal. The salad did have a sweet, white dressing.
The chicken rice was really mushy and gooey. Too much water (or chicken broth) was used to cook it. For a chicken rice, it's rather bland. 😅"

I got the teriyaki salmon, california roll, and shrimp tempura. Comes with rice, salad, miso, and pickled radish.
The california roll was so creamy with the crab and avocado basically melting in your mouth! the wasabi was so much better than any imitation wasabi with a hint of sweetness behind the heat.
The shrimp was crispy and filling and if i'm being honest i didn't even really need the sauce it was so good even without added flavor and tasted so fresh! Absolutely mouth watering and addictive.
The salmon had a crispy skin that was so delicious with the fresh sticky rice. The sauce is also very good it tastes homemade which made it that much better.
The miso is also really good while i'd have loved a bit more tofu and seaweed it was very filling. The seaweed isn't rubbery and the tofu melted like nothing i've had before!
Lastly the salad was so fresh and crisp and the pickled radish was sooooo gooooooood! It's got a hint of sesame oil on both and it's so mouth watering.

"I first ate at this restaurant in person. The chicken katsu was incredible. Very moist and tasty. I have ordered it through Door Dash and it was so-so the first time and really disappointing the second time. The second time it was burned and cold. They barely give you any rice and the rice i received this tome was not very good. It was super dry and undercooked. It seemed like some grains were not even cooked at all. There isnt an option on Door Dash to order an extra rice, so I requested it in the requests. I also asked for extra katsu sauce. They only give you a half of a very small plastic container, the kind for ketchup. Thy did give me extra rice but not extra Katsu sauce. I also noted I didnt want miso soup or salad, which they clearly read and didnt provide. Something is clearly wrong with their kitchen.
