"Best dumplings in town, and best spicy beef dish ever! I've been to several of the Special Noodle locations in the bay, and was very excited when they expanded to Santa Cruz. Their pan fried soup dumplings are delicious, and they survive delivery quite well, arriving at a temperature that's still uncomfortably hot, but mercifully less scarring than when you dine in. The szechuan style hot oil dumplings are also a must-try. Finally, their mixed chili beef (same as the Rainbow Beef in their location over the hill), is a crowning achievement in spiciness and impactful flavor, not to be missed if you can handle your heat."
