"We started going to Red 8 out of convenience and limited choices about eight years ago, and we continued to go because the service was always fast and accommodating, and the food was pretty good. Over the years, we have noticed improvement in customer service, food texture and flavor, and even take-out containers. Last night, our dinner was the best ever! The Sesame Chicken was extra tender with no dry edges; Cheese Wontons seemed to be a bit more plump than usual & were still warm when they were delivered; & best of all, the Ham Fried Rice was hot, steamy, and had more flavor than usual-- as if they upgraded a couple of the ingredients. Whatever they did, it was awesome!"

"I ordered Pad Thai and paid $3 extra to have shrimp instead of chicken. First, the Pad Thai was in fact as white as shown in the picture from Yelp--extreeeemely lightly sauced. Fortunately I had some Pad Thai sauce, so added that to have some flavor. Second, there were a total of THREE shrimp, and they were placed under the hot noodles, so they were well and truly overcooked although Red 8 is max 5 minutes from my house. Extremely disappointing. Starting with the negative, didn't like the Seaweed salad, it had a very thick sweet dressing. Similar to what you get if you buy it frozen from a Japanese grocery. The miso was fine if not distinctive, just what you'd expect. Otherwise, the sushi was beautifully packed and presented. Delivery is not the best way to get sushi, but this was extremely well done. Each roll was nicely crafted abs the distinctive flavors of each element came through. The fish was very fresh and flavorful. I would tell you my favorite roll, but I'm not 100% sure which one it was. However nothing disappointed"
