"the black mussels had not been boiled boiled long enough to open. Not one black mussel had opened. Usually that means it should be tossed prior to customer service due to the danger. FYI, black mussels should open when boiled long enough for safety. I ate it because it's too exceptionally expensive not to, but this is a restaurant.
