"El Sombrero has the BEST Mexican food in Kitsap County! We have been enjoying their food since 1996 & will order from them again & again. Depending on how hungry you are most portions will leave you w/some for later. Ingredients are ALWAYS fresh. Arroz con Camarones is better at El S than PV! Pork Carnitas - YUM. Veggie Burrito was outstanding! Kids Quesadilla w/beef & cheese - tasty! Everything was cooked to perfection."

"The enchiladas in the Gringo meal were Fab. The kid enchilada was also very good. The kids taco was worth celebrating. Beans and rice were better than most standard Mexican fare😊 Now for the not so good. The taquitos had a strange unpleasant taste. Couldn't eat them😞. The tamale was not like any tamale I’ve ever eaten in 65 years of Mexican food in Colorado, Texas, California and even Hawaii (and they served up some weird versions of Mexican food). Not only did it not even closely resembles a tamale it had an unrecognizable taste that put me off food for a few hours. I don't know what that was but I don't recommend it. Overall it was a mixed bag. Some really good and some REALLY bad. Stick to the tacos and enchiladas, beans and rice and you should be good. I wish I had ordered a plain flour tortilla. They are good for cleansing your palate and I could use something to get rid of the awful taste of that “tamale” ,🥰🤮"

"This place is awesome. My favorite is the Green Curry with brown rice spice level 3***. Their medium spicy is actually medium. I've yet to try their 5***** spice level. I tried the Crab Rangoon (7PCS) this time and they are good too. The cream cheese would be a great way to cool down the spicy, if it's too much for you. I've tried the Thai iced tea once and will not order it again. I paid way too much for a cup that was completely overflowing with ice, with barely any tea in it at all. I honestly don't know if it's any good. I got maybe one sip out of the entire cup. Needless to say, if you order it, make sure there is no ice. Perhaps they are trying to make sure it stays cold. That said, this place packages their food well. The Green Curry stays hot and fresh for at least an hour, probably longer."
