"The best donut at Shipley's is the "BULLSEYE", but it's not on their Door Dash menu. I tried to indicate in my instructions that I was trying to order that, but they were either not read at all or ignored. The bullseye is chocolate iced donut with cream in the center and sprinkles on top. It's great and a favorite since I was a little girl. I don't understand why they don't feature these on their menu. Shipley's is nostalgic for me, but I wish they would elevate their menu just a bit. That being said, I like them better than any other random donut place for the most part because they consistently have the same taste and know their flavors. I like the sausage better on the regular kolache opposed to the "premium" one, but wish the outside breaking was softer and had more filling. Shipley's Kolaches are very empty inside after you take your first bite. It's like a skinny wiener with barely any jalapeño or cheese on a cave of stale bread. Because of the nostalgia that I get from Shipley's though, I will continue to order their sub par Kolaches and donuts when needed. Chocolate iced, cherry iced, sugar white, chocolate cream filled, and white cream filled are good (because of the white cream!) If they had bullseye in the menu, I would be a happy girl without complaint."

I thought they forgot the guac, found it at the bottom under the lettuce but honestly it was like a tablespoon - almost non existent, I think there's room improvement there.. container was wide but not deep. only notes I have to improve more guac and some more salad/ fixings. "first time eating at this restaurant, was tasty, fresh ingredients & definitely worth the try. will be ordering from here again & every flavor ordered was a winner. had a nice amount of fixings in each. the salsa had great flavor but I wouldn't consider either spicy (red had a touch more spice than green if your wondering which you want) & despite being mild, I really enjoyed the flavor of the green salsa. the tacos are slightly/size up from a street taco. (took photos next to a highlighter so you have a scale of your curious)
*never had Nopales Taco (cactus) before, wasn't sure what to expect. had a nice flavor along with the spices used, soft/lightly firm texture (not mushy), would definitely get again & would recommend. I'd you're a meat eater, you don't feel like you're missing out, if you want to give this a try.
*the Chicharron en salsa verde Taco was very good, very tender/soft meat & despite the tortilla getting a bit soft/messy, totally worth it.
* Carne Asada Taco - when I unwrapped, was a bit nervous visually looking at it that they meat may be dry but looks were deceiving, it was cooked well/through but not dry, good flavor & for those who enjoy steak tacos, give it a try.
* Birria Beef Taco - never had before, definitely enjoyable; soft, had more spice/marinade flavor (comparing to Carne Asada Taco where it's more meat flavor) but very good.
* Al Pastor Taco - great balance between spice & still tasting the meat. nicely cooked without being dry & had a tad bit of that fat to still give it flavor.
