Salmon Roll was not what was pictured, just a chunk of salmon in the center of a rice roll then held together with seaweed. Spicy Tuna Roll didn't have much flavor at all, usually 1 of my fav rolls but this was a let down. Spicy Crab Roll was good, more flavor and "spice" than the spicy Tuna. I was disappointed in the small amount of wasabi provided for 3 rolls, it was barely what I would expect to get for 1, plus the 3 rolls were for 3 different people so it bugged me that they were packed in 1 container. The Yum Yum sauce wasn't bad but wasn't the flavors I expected. I'd order again, some repeats but definitely need to find the right roll to replace my go to spicy tuna next time."

"The Shrimp fried rice was very tasty and it was loaded with shrimp."

"The food is mediocre at best. There are a couple of high points and some low points. The high points was the hot and sour soup. Very rich and tasty. It could have had a bit more hot spice to it, but overall very good. The pork lo mein was good, but not great. I've had lo mein at other restaurants in the area that have MUCH more meat than this one did. Also, for the price, the container didn't have as much lo mein as other restaurants in the area. The two eggrolls were soggy and all I tasted was the wrapper. There didn't seem to be much filling in them. The hot and crispy beef *would* have been good, but by the time it arrived it was stuck together and all "gooped" up with corn starch so the sauce was a like a thick covering rather than a slight glaze or a typical sauce loose sauce. I ordered a side of pork fried rice and while it was not bad, again, it lacked pork and since I paid a premium to have PORK fried rice rather than white rice (free) or plain fried rice, I feel like I got ripped off. This restaurant is typical of the area's Chinese restaurants. There really isn't a *great* Chinese restaurant in this area. I'm not sure why there can't be a restaurant here that offers other types of dishes. If you want really good Chinese food, check out Full Kee on Horsepen Road in Richmond. It's a bit more expensive, but multiples times better than anything in the Fredericksburg area."

The Pork Fried Dumplings had more flavor, but were very doughy and overwhelmed the filling. On a better note the Wonton Soup was very good, not just salty, with plenty of fresh green onions and beautifully clear, fresh broth. The Vegetable Lo Mein had lovely noodles and a reasonable portion of vegetables - onions, mushrooms, snow peas, and broccoli. The Pad Thai, Pork was tasty with al dente noodles and enough sauce for good flavor without drowning the food. Alas, no peanut topping. The main reason I ordered was the Mandarin Chicken . Thankfully HG abandoned their original recipe for this dish and adopted the FG recipe several years ago. Fiery without sacrificing flavor with fresh red, green, and yellow peppers (not the canned peas and carrots of yore.) Sadly, small portion/price ratio deters a repeat."

"This is the first time I've ever really taken the time to write a review like this, and for good reason. I normally see no reason to do so, as most people ignore them, and I usually don't think the owner of the restaurant will take notice. But this is different. My wife and I both ordered the CHICKEN PARMIGIANA. And it's the most delicious, best tasting chicken parm either of us have ever had, and my wife grew up Italian, eating traditional Italian dishes prepared by old school Italian family. The chicken is obviously hand prepared, and it's a fantastic size for the dish. It's a large portion of pasta, and even in a great ratio to the chicken. However... they really messed up with the sauce. Don't get me wrong, the sauce is just as astonishingly delicious as the rest of the dish. But there's so little of it. I flipped through the pasta, hoping that maybe they had put some in layers throughout the dish... no. It really was just the little bit that was on the surface. Leo, you have to stop skimping on the sauce. The meal would be truly mind-bending, if there was a proper ratio of sauce to pasta. Right now, it's 90% pasta, 10% sauce. It needs to be 75% pasta, 25% sauce, especially with such a large portion of pasta. This comes from a fourth generation Italian woman. If any potential diners are reading this, and have made it this far, it is still worth ordering this dish. It's tasty enough to be worth the lacking sauce. But if I were you, after placing your order, I would consider placing a call and asking if they can add 15% more sauce. You'll be glad you did, and it's worth whatever amount of money they want for it. "

"The food was appetizing, looked nothing like pictures! The MAMA'S SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS entree was slices of some type of steak meat in red sauce over ziti noodles. There was enough to cover the bottom of the container only. The CHICKEN PESTO ALFREDO entree consisted of burned chicken breast, lightly tossed in Alfredo with pesto and steamed broccoli. Both dishes looked and tasted like $8 meals at best, and that is me being nice. I will never order from this restaurant again and it was not worth the $40+ I payed for it."
