"I absolutely love sub express! They are known for their generous portions. But tonight, I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the Express with gluten free bread which I had to pay $2.50 extra for. I did not receive the same meat ratio as regular sandwiches do. One slice of ham, a very thin slice of turkey and two baloney. Regardless of the type of bread, we all should be given the same amount of meat. This is the reason why I hate paying more for gluten free bread anywhere."

"The Chili Cheese Dog Combo didn't even get eaten, because it looked disgusting and dry, like it had been sitting out for a long time. The NEW! Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake BLIZZARD® Treat was also left uneaten. It was nothing but huge chunks of strawberries, and so many pieces of cheesecake, that there was practically no ice cream at all. What really was the kicker tho, is that it came with no lid. Just sitting open in the bag with a spoon stuck in it. I don't care if the bag had been sealed or not; to me, that was unsanitary. The one thing that was good, was the Original Cheeseburger. Had it been hot and fresh, I can't even imagine how delicious it would have been... All in all, this was a horribly disappointing meal, thus the rating of only 2 stars."

"Very disappointed… the food was “ok”, limited menu, VERY over priced (for quantity, taste and presentation) and our food was served in styrofoam boxes (dining in). The Atmosphere felt dingy, plain and thrown together. The only staff member that was working was friendly and busy but for our experience, there are just too many wonderful restaurants in Statesville to give this one another shot."
