"Soon after I ordered, I received a text that my order was received followed immediately by another text that the order was ready. Once I arrived to pick up, they said they had been trying to call me because they did not have the carnitas as I had ordered. I did not have any missed calls from them. I was offered chicken, carne asada or chorizo so I chose the carne asada. It was not what I wanted but I was already there so I waited for my order to be made. The food is very bland. Rice was weird, beans slightly tangy, and the carne was extremely oily yet not seasoned at all. The carne asada honestly looked like a mix of ground beef and chopped steak. I will say, the portion size of rice and beans was large but when it lacks flavor and tastes sour, it's not that great. The hot sauce does have a good spice to it, so that's a plus. Tacos Al Carbon had good flavor but the steak was mostly cartilage in our dish which is the reason for the decent rather than good texmex. a little spendy but it may be cheaper in the actual restaurant."

Which was $21 by the way, looked NOTHING like the photo, it was a VERY SMALL portion of almost all veggies and some small bits of shrimp drowning in a reddish orange sauce. Nothing like ANY ceviche I've ever had. The burrito, which was SUPPOSED TO BE carne asada, with guacamole for an additional $3 was a giant blob of rice, mushrooms and spinach in a tortilla. Not a SPECK of meat NOR guacamole to be seen. The only decent item, was the Huara CHON. Though, the fried masa it was on was hard as a rock, the meat and pico, beans and guac were actually fairly tasty. We paid over SIXTY dollars for this meal. Which, had the portions been decent and the food done AS ORDERED... would have been worth it. It WAS NOT. In fact, I can't even see paying $20 for what we received. If I had to label it it feels like hipster food inspired by latin descent. The burrito was steak and was really decent flavor wise. I did not see an option to select a meat for the tacos, I was seeking a carne asada taco but i ended up with Chicken tacos. They were fairly delicious though. Again as far as like authentic latin maybe. I can not say for certain as I am Mexican and I have a certain expectation. This was much less filling and worth the money. For a burrito I would rather hit el rey burro in yelm, or even alibertos in lacey/olympia. It definitely was lackluster in its entirety. However!, The tortillas for the tacos, were the best I have had in WA so far. I will not be ordering them again but it is not bad, I looked into their location and the pics are very much an experience which may make the food issues i had be overlooked but i was eating this at my dinner table and found it lackluster. However, thats just my opinion which we are all entitled to."
