"I am honestly convinced that the only reason this restaurant is as popular and successful as it is could be attributed to its location. Portion sizes especially for any kind of roll is quite paling for the price and the sashimi is only mildly better, which leaves Udon and other noodle dishes. The ones I did order were of lower quality than the popular options, which made me and the friend I went with question the purpose of eating at such a venue. Again, I understand why there are more westernised options, but when the actual Japanese items seem to have suffered at the expense of their existence to the point their quality suffers, it does make for a frustrating experience. It feels like I am eating at a McDonald's in Japan. Sure, it's great if you want to feel at home and comfortable while overseas, but if you want actual Japanese food your only claim to such would be its location. "
