Crispy, cheesy, juicy, and that consomé? Tasty! Same with the carnitas taco—shockingly good. I’m not even a huge carnitas lover, but this one? Soft, seasoned, flavorful. They did it right. Now, this place is definitely going on the list of spots for legit Mexican-style tacos. I’m picky, especially with meat, and if you know me, you know I check my tacos before I even take a bite. I literally scan for fat and gristly pieces, and I can tell you—besides the al pastor, which wasn’t my favorite and had a few of those fatty bites—the rest was super clean. Minimal fat, nice texture, and you can see in the photos: my plates are basically empty except for those tiny bits. That says something. So why not a 5 out of 5? Because while it was delicious and totally hit the spot....it wasn’t mind-blowing. I reserve that 5-star status for the spots that leave me shook! I appreciate it because our local or closest Taco Bell seemed to have the smallest bean and cheese burritos of the 3 in town or out of town. I don't mind menu items going up in price for increased minimum wages and increase in ingredients costs, but don't also subtract from your portion size. So I am glad that they were a lot better than usual. I will say though, this Taco Bell is usually the one that does training for the other stores and has the overall best customer experience. "I ordered the pozole and I hate to say it looks better in the picture than what it tastes, the meat was not flavorful and it was a little tough to chew , the soup had no flavor I had to add a lot of tapatio and salt at home to give it somewhat of a flavor and it was a bit too expensive for the serving portion that was given i asked for condiments cabbage, radishes, onion dried oregano lemon , I received two small slices of limes that seemed old, very little cabbage and 3 round pieces of radishes and the onions weren't even diced they were half of a ring save your money , i have tried menudo in the past and it was not good as well , I thought maybe the pozole could be what they were better at and it was a disappointment."
