"The $12 box Shrimp Suya Bowl MealBox was delicious. I got the curry fried rice and added a side of the Waake (Smokey Beans). The Smokiness of the beans was perfect. The seasoning was great and not overwhelmingly spicy on each dish. I can add this to my monthly take out rotation."
"OMG usually I just do the star rating thumb it and go but the Chicken Suya Bowl with Okuko rice onions and plantains 😋💯☀️✊🏾🌱 (making the homer Simpson moan over food). so delicious as I figured. prepare to share or reheat leftovers for tomorrow 💜🌎 Asante Sana"

"Potato Greens with White Rice very flavorful.
Chuck-Rice/White Rice/Gravy also flavorful. Wish it was more gravy like but still great!"
"I decided to get this place to try after I saw the reviews, but the food was horrible not gonna lie. I eat African food all the time and this place was not it for me. The taste was strong like it just was not a good balance of herbs used, and the palm oil taste like motor oil. I would not order from here again. "

"I recently had the pleasure of ordering at Fork n Fingers African Restaurant, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish.
The menu offers a delightful array of authentic Nigerian dishes, each bursting with flavor and expertly prepared using the finest ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the jollof rice, which was perfectly seasoned and accompanied by tender, succulent pieces of grilled chicken. The Dun Dun, peppered snail, peppered ponmo and suya were another highlight, offering a tantalizing blend of spices that left my taste buds dancing with delight.
Overall, Fork N Fingers African Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur of Nigerian cuisine or new to the flavors of West Africa, I highly recommend treating yourself to a meal at this exceptional restaurant. It's an experience you won't soon forget!"

"Please never take off of the menu! The potato greens are so fresh and flavorful and the portion is perfect. I will be ordering again TODAY"
"This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and unfortunately, it will probably be my last. I was really disappointed with the food. The platter was so overly spicy that all I could taste was heat—I couldn’t enjoy any of the actual flavors. It was so spicy that I ended up leaving the entire platter and all of the rice untouched.
The fish was edible, but it was very bland and lacked seasoning or flavor. It’s frustrating to spend money on a meal that I couldn’t even enjoy.
The one positive thing I can say is that the portions were very generous. Unfortunately, a large portion doesn’t make up for food that isn’t enjoyable to eat. I really think this meal could have been much better."

I tried the Egusi & Fufu, Peanut Butter Soup, and Cassava Leaf, and everything was SO good! The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly seasoned. "This is some of the best Ethiopian food I've had in Philly. I like the fact that it's not all super spicy & you have the option of ordering mild dishes. Everything is very flavorful (regardless of heat level) & the injera is perfect. I've eaten in the restaurant & gotten delivery & it's been good every time."
"So, so good. I could live off of the foul medames alone. The base chicken injera wrap is well-priced and holds its own against items from places like Chipotle in terms of macros. It comes great everyyyy single time.
Fresh, great food with fairly priced portions. Like... you can tell that even the tomatoes used in the stews are quality here. That's what's up.
Hope that the prices hold steady so I can keep ordering several times a week (at this time ~$8 chicken injera, ~$9 foul medames) Love love love this spot."

"The Kefta Kabab Sandwich was perfect. Kefta in every bite and fresh veggies. Filling but not crippling. The mint iced tea was refreshing too."
"The pita was good but could've been better. Good falafel and good fries. Small fries is pretty big for two people so that's good. Falafel platter was pretty good size too. Hummus was better than store bought but not mind blowing. Good size for value but flavor could be better. "

"I love their jerk chicken, but I also have not tried anything else, because I am just obsessed with jerk chicken. Their candied yams are my absolute favorite, and I do like their plantains.
The first photo is the Large Jerk Chicken meal with Rice and Peas, Yams, and extra sauce on the side.
I also ordered a side of yams, in the photo I used a can of seltzer for size comparison. All sides come in the same size container.
Some day I will try something else from here... some day! "
"I really wanted to like this place. The Chicken Patty was quite plain to begin the meal. The Curry Chicken Meal was somewhat dry and was very expensive for chicken and rice and side. I don't have a problem paying for good food but this was mediocre at best. The Oxtail Meal - Medium was the best thing but of course there could've been more oxtail. The flavor was there with the brown gravy and a little hint of spice but it was mostly bones. And sadly, most of the pieces seemed like they just put the oxtail into the pot and do not fall off the bone easily. Even ripping it off the bone with my teeth still left meat on the bone which shows you it was not slow cooked long enough as it would come cleanly off the bone. Unfortunately, I would not get again based on quality and price point"
