The Lamb Roganjosh is so warm and flavorful, and it literally melts in your mouth. Even the rice it comes with is fragrant and tasty on its own. The butter chicken and the tikka masala are also part of my regular rotation. The Garlic Naan is perfect by itself or dragged through sauce, and the cheese naan is just as good. "Possibly the best tasting food I've ever had- not "Indian" food, food. That said the portion size relative to the cost is appallingly small. I got a Kathi roll ($14) and cauliflower pakoras ($12) for a total of $26 before taxes and fees. I've had amazing kathi rolls in NYC and Philly for $6-$7, so I just assumed these would be bigger since they're twice the price and those cities are comparable to the DC food scene. The one I had from Bindaas turned out to be even smaller. I personally don't have a problem paying more for food in a restaurant when there's service being provided and you have the ability to easily order more. But I'm still hungry after spending $26 on a takeout order when I usually don't even spend half as much. "

"Some of the best Indian food I've ever had"

"Food was well-seasoned, but portions were a joke. They have a lot of nerve charging $30 for a literal cup of rice and a few small cubes of meat. Much nicer restaurants than this charge the same amount for three times as much food. I really hope they figure this out because the chef seems to be very talented and I would hate to see them fail so soon. "

"This is my FAVORITE restaurant. I order here every week and the food is amazing. I always get the Korma but ask for it spicy. 10/10! Vindaloo is hot and nice, Jalfrezi is flavorful, samosas are amazing I recommend everything!!! "

"Two main dishes were wrong. The delivery took forever. Not because of the driver but because the restaurant took too long. Even the food that was correct tasted horrible. Chewy, inedible lamb korma. Overly fried Brussel sprouts and spinach chaat. Tasteless Chili Paneer . All bad. And expensive. We have ordered here before and it was decent. No idea what happened."

"I frequently order from Bansari. Sarsoon Ka Saag is the best. Coming from the Western part of India, I just have heard about Saag but never had before. This is one of the best tastes I have ever had in the USA. Moreover, their Indo-Chinese dishes are mouthwatering. You can get all spice levels. Must try Chinese Bhel, Veg Manchurian, Hakka Noodles, and Veg Fried Rice. Being a vegetarian, I prefer to order from here as they have the best delivery option too and never mess with the order. "

"There was a time I used to love their food but their quality and quantity has been going down drastically. I had recently ordered one of my favourite dishes, the 'Rajasthani Laal Maas' but it was completely tasteless and wasn't close to what I've had from here on many occasions before. Now, for a dish worth $25 plus taxes, one really expects it to be at least good if not great. The quantity as well was obnoxious since their container was just half full and there was hardly any goat flesh over the bones. It felt like I was eating a left over dish. I was greatly disappointed with them recently."

"Best Butter Chicken in the area! Other places taste too strong of tomato - this is PERFECTLY balanced and is the most comforting meal as it gets cooler out! Yes, the price tag and portion isnt as good as others but this flavor is to die for!!"

"New favorite Indian restaurant. We did all vegetarian this time, sharing some wonderfully smoky dal makhani, Chana masala and Aloo Gobhi Matar along with rice and naan. All had great flavor, I did medium spicy but we could have happily done more so next time will try that. May also try some of the meat dishes next time but there will definitely be a next time very soon."
