"I have to start by saying that if you haven't tried the Tijuana Tuna yet, you're truly missing out and I mean this with every fiber of my being. I tried the Turnpike sandwich, but it just wasn't for me. I found the salami to be a little overpowering and salty. The bread was tough and difficult to chew through, and I’m not sure if the cheese was even included. Definitely made for people who enjoy a meatier and heartier filling, though!
I also thought their standard Brownie was delicious, but the 'fancy' version stole my heart. It has the perfect gooeyness, a satisfying crunch from the nuts, and a hint of sweetness from the caramel. But my favorite part was the thin layer of graham crackers at the bottom; it brought everything together in the most mouthwatering way. I swear that no other brownie can compare to this one.

"I usually like this spot despite the regular lengthy wait time, but the value for the price paid is not quite there anymore. I ordered the "mama mia" appetizer plate and it was a total disappointment for the price paid. 22 bucks for 3 small mozzarella sticks, 4 wings, two half sized slices of pizza (so one full slice?), and four breadsticks sucked. The wings were the highlight of that combo, everything else was pretty mid.
I will say; The Chicken Parmesan Sandwich (12.50 bucks at time of order) was great. I would recommend just getting two of those and skipping the appetizers because they really aren't worth it and you'll probably be way more satisfied with those. "

"Tamales were warm, moist, and the masa had a good flavor. I ordered a 1/2 dozen of all 3 but got another a dozen of pork so I am guessing they were out of jalapeno and cheese. They are big they also have a good masa to meat ratio. They were delicious!"
