The Cabbage was cooked well and little sweet, but I'm disappointed in the amount that was given. The Plantains were just ok. "It was my first time trying this place and although I didn't recieve a good first slice of cake I am open to trying them again. The Carolina's Chocolate Cake had a lot of holes in it indicating that the batter wasn't thoroughly mixed. On top of that , because it wasn't very well mixed it led to a lot of dry spots in the cake itself which I didn't really like. The chocolate frosting was very oily and didn't spread well, it was also kind of clumpy. Overall I would say that the slice of cake for $7 is a bit on the small size , there are other places you could go to which give you bigger slices for $6. I will be trying this place again since it has decent reviews! I just think maybe today was an off day since my slice clearly wasn't fresh."
