Chicago Pizza and Pasta's crust must be able to stand up to the toppings. The crust heel should not be so glutenous. There was no buttery and flaky crust, but the toppings and sauce were good. As far as the salad. It's generic. Do you make your own salad dressing? It'd be great if you did. The pizza was generous though and can fill up two people. "They did it again! It's my second order from Besa's, the standard pizza was amazing (did one cheese and one pineapple + pepperoni), if you're looking for that cartoon-esque style gooey melty stretchy foldable slice that isnt drowning in grease, this is your spot. The new thing we tried this time was an order of their Bowl Gypsy Sauce ... it was beautifully made, a great and spicy add to the pizza, I had to stop myself from drinking the entire bowl dry, joking but kind of not. Think of it more as a bruschetta-style topper than your typical marinara, so good! (even came with a nice side of Italian bread, tysm for that!) The only feedback for Besa's is, personally, I wouldn't mind paying a dollar more for the sauce if it meant it could be shipped in something a little more spill proof than the bake tins. In my case, I think my driver's route included taking many turns causing a lot of the olive oil at the top of the sauce to seep out of the top, through the bag, and a good bit onto the pizza box which was under it (not a big deal, the pies where safe, but you know certain people would make a big deal out of it. Either way the gypsy sauce was amazing, and very much appreciated, the portion size the perfect amount for pairing with the two pizzas. New to the area and really dig the food you are all making! "whenever I try a new pizza place I always order a plain cheese pizza on thin crust. That is the basis of any good pizza. If they can't get that right, then none of the other stuff you add on matters. Stoners did not pass. Majority of my pizza cheese was brown, meaning they overcooked it. Somehow their thin crust was chewy… like a bagel. it was also either "not" or "under" seasoned... like a bagel. The sauce was under seasoned. It wasn't zesty or sweet or....anything. it was barely even present. The cheese was flat. I got a small and I didn't even finish it. I would put this somewhere between a three star hotel room service pizza or pizza you might get at a bar. The cheesecake Stromboli was kind of bizarre as well.. not a good experience for me, sorry. "
