"Boon Kai is usually on point with their food, but these meals were very sub-par for them. The orange #20. Orange Chicken was dry, and the pieces were just huge! The chicken may not have been as dry if the pieces were smaller, but it also lacked a lot of the orange juice or gravy that is on them. They did not please the palate or the eye. The Moo Goo Gai Pan need more sauce or gravy as well.. there is no liquid to spoon up to put over my rice as it has in dishes past. I just feel that these meals were not as good as Boon Kai usually put out."

In addition, this restaurant charges extra for rices, almost $3 for each. I ordered 2 rices, but it was not delivered. So after almost 1.5 hour wait time, I got an incomplete order. The food was generally tasteful, except for the lamb. I ordered the Lamb Spine in Dry Pot before and it was very tasty. But this time, it was much longer wait, and the lamb dish did not have much flavor and was not tender enough, clearly not enough cooking time. I don't know what happened today for them but it was a disappointing experience. "

I always ask for extra soy packets they put in no label clear soy sauce. it's terrible, basically dark salty water. I couldn't use them. This is the first time getting these substandard soy sauce packets in my past five orders. I definitely suggest trying the $5 California Roll on Wednesdays. "I ordered the Garlic Shrimp Combo Meal and the KPOT Veggie Hot Pot, not realizing how very much food they give you. I barely finished the Garlic Shrimp Combo Meal and had to put the hot pot in the fridge for tomorrow. Unlike some other restaurants that serve noodles and broth, KPOT puts the broth in its own container so you don't end up with mush by the time your food gets to you, and I am able to save it for tomorrow. The Garlic Shrimp Combo Meal was SO SO VERY DELICIOUS. The kimchi was just amazing. I absolutely LOVED it. I will be ordering my Korean food from here going forward. "I tried the NEW Kickin' Grilled Cheese and Creamy Tomato Soup today for a nice lunch during work. The first spoonful I had of the soup, I knew I had ordered the right thing for today. It was really flavourful and creamy, it wasn't watery. It had some chunks of tomatoes for richness but if you don't like chunks you can easily leave them out as there's only a few, the rest is so smooth. The bread wasnt as toasted I expected in the grilled cheese but the salsa verde is so good in it, it tasted great. It goes really well with the soup. The Chocolate Chip Muffie can never go wrong right? Great way to end that super yummy lunch. I just wish I could afford to get Panera more! "

The potato salad I thought was on the smaller side but it honestly filled me up perfectly and changed my opinion. The potato salad is on the sweet side so don't order it if you prefer something more tart- I loved it though! I'm going to have to try other sandwich's and their chili next."
