"Lao Der is not shy when it comes to heat. When you ask for extra spicy, it's actually spicy. I don't know how much I can stress that, all places I go when I ask for extra spicy, it is never satisfying. Although it can get pricey (sticky rice, khao soy), this is my to go place when I want raw beef laab (Beef Tartare). I absolutely love the bamboo soup, although I had better. It is so rare to find, so this is actually perfect when you're too lazy to make it. oh, did I forget the chicken feet! Would love it even more if it is mixed with papaya sauce instead. Would be nice to have some shrimp paste and fresh chili with kao poon, kao piak, or any type of noodle dish."

"I really liked the taste of the waffles. Semi sweet batter not buttermilky. I wish they were more crisp but I placed them in my toaster for a minute and they became perfectly tasty w/added butter (not provided) and syrup! The chicken tenders were delicious. I ordered "mild" since I don't like spicyness. Add some honey (not provided) on top and remove the sliced pickles! Cole slaw included but did not try it. Fries were crispy and delicious! You get a separate box with lots of them. Their kiwi lemonade is really good! I Ask for honey and butter. Not sure if they have it but they should. I will definitely order here again!"

"Kao Piak Sen was just a bit salty for me but good nonetheless. Chili oil that came with is not as spicy but it does give a bit of kick. They gave such a generous amount of meat and extra broth on the side so thats a double plus. Spring Rolls (3pcs) was good but protein is thin and majority veggies so if you're looking for a light snack, this one will be perfect. "
