"The homestyle pork spring rolls were the hero of the items I ordered, sweet potato chips are also to a good standard of texture; they were not salted.
Banh mi's were bland, pork was dry, there was no crackling and I couldn't taste/see any liver pate. Lemongrass beef was similar in texture, superior in fragrance yet still lacked the depth/richness I was hoping for from liver pate and fish sauce.
The rice paper rolls (soldiers) were a good size, however also bland; I would recommend the low carb version, the regular one was almost entirely vermicelli with a thin lining of ingredients on top acting as a garnish for the rice noodles (I understand the price is low to reflect the volume of ingredients, however the ratio of vermicelli to everything else is 9 to 1; I would happily pay 20% extra per roll for better ratios).
If I were to order again, my order would be the low carb rice paper roll (maybe) and a kilogram of the pork spring rolls."
