"I highly recommend this Church’s Chicken location. I usually order through Uber Eats late at night, and every single time the food arrives fresh. The chicken is always hot, crispy, and tastes like it was just fried. The Honey-Butter Biscuits are also always fresh, soft, and taste like they were just made.
The reason I keep ordering from this location is because I had the opposite experience at the North Road Church’s Chicken. They sent me cold chicken and dry, stale biscuits, and I actually had to request a refund.
The Lougheed Highway location, on the other hand, has been consistently excellent. Everything is always fresh and delicious, so this is the only Church’s Chicken location I order from now. Highly recommended!"

The Blackstone Benny itself was disappointing - soggy english muffin, flavourless mealy tomato, undercooked congealed bacon, and a VERY small egg on both.
The worst part was definitely the Colcannon, though. I was genuinely taken aback - it was claggy, starchy, crumbly, unseasoned. Had the consistency of poorly mixed pie crust dough that had been to dry out on the counter. I was certain it was at least a day or more old and had been microwaved, but I spoke to the kitchen manager Sara(h) who swore up and down she made it this morning, which is maybe even more concerning to be honest...?? She was also very defensive and snippy with me when I expressed my concerns.
I don't know what's going on, if maybe they had a staff or management turnover, but I won't be returning/reordering."

"I 100% recomen this plac. They have really tasty food, high quality dishes, affordable prices and I love that all the pastas and soups comes with garlic homemade bread. I talked with the owner and she told me that it use to be an Italian restaurant (cofeteria) but now it's a fusion with mexican food. I can't wait to try more authentic mexcan dishes.

"I had such high hopes for this place, but the quality was really disappointing!
The Enfrijoladas are well portioned for the price, but the dish is bland. The chicken filling is super dry and has no flavour whatsoever--it seems like it's either bought frozen or boiled plain. The black bean sauce is okay but needs more flavour. The dish ingredient lists onions amongst the toppings, which actually turned out to be a tiny garnish of *pickled* onions, not the diced white onions you'd expect for a Mexican dish. I asked for onions and cilantro on top, which was not provided and would have helped inject some much-needed flavour dimension.
The Aguas Frescas (jamaica) was well made, not too sweet, but the $6 price tag is too much.
I would consider checking this cafe out in person to see if they have any other baked goods, but I won't be ordering a meal here again :("
