"got the tacos al Taco Al Pastor / Seasoned Pork taco dinner. flavor was fine, price was good, portions were great. fresh cilantro and onions, but overall a fine taco."
"Tacos themselves were fine, chicken was well seasoned but didn't get any cilantro or onion. The Quesadilla Gigante / Giant Quesadilla was truly god awful. Store-bought quality tortilla and virtually no cheese on it. Tasted bland, stale, and it was very small for the price. Would not order again, looks nothing like the photo"

"Boat noodle soup was very tasty and very meaty. Could be better with a bit more of the rice noodles. Worth re-ordering. Also ordered papaya salad, but was not worth the cost for the actual amount of food as it was not a shareable size. It was tasty, but half of the dish was a wedge of lettuce."
"Worst 111. Sesame Chicken I ever had. I asked for extra meat. They gave me 7 small pieces of chicken total. So portion size was incredibly low for 16 bucks (extra meat). The sauce was watered down and not tasty (also too sweet).

"First time ever having a Huarache. These things are tasty and filling! Like an entree sized tostada with more fixins. The Torta al Pastor was quite good as well on the sweeter side which is what I prefer and, although not generous, it was a totally fair size for the price and quite filling. "

"That was one of, if not the best Gryo I have ever had. It had a lot of thick strips and chunks of very well cooked Gryo meat. I spent that extra $1.99 for extra meat and hell yeah for $1.99 it was definitely worth it and I'm definitely going to be ordering from here again. Give it a try, trust me you won't be disappointed."
"For what was received it taste good but the portions is a fraction of what is shown/expected. Miss the taste of home but if I'm spending over $20+ on a meal I'd expect more a few pieces of dawali and a tiny piece of zucchini. Needs a little more middle eastern flavoring. Not like moms but until another restaurant opens with authentic food- it'll do."

"Could've had more egusi. Kinda looks like it's been eaten out of. More Spanish than melon seed. Flavor is nice. Looks a bit rushed & just throw in the bowl! Definitely not worth over $20.50 only 4 small pieces of plantain for the price is ridiculous."

"I LOVEDDDD 10/10 Egusi, Pepper soup, & Okra soup all with goat meat. Super fresh and hot & came with more than enough fufu for everything! Definitely my new spot ! The egusi did leack a bit of palm oil but im sure thats the dashers doing lol"
"This was my first try with african cuisine, and Im so glad I picked this place. The Spinach & Egusi Stew was special with lots of flavor. I ordered with chicken, I received two large drumsticks, they were juicy, fried (not breaded) and it added such a nice crisp and char to the dish. Also a good amount of spice! but it wasnt too much spice for me and im usually a mild spice person. Would reccommend to anyone curious about egusi"

"The "boneless bangus paksiw" (fish stew) that I got in my combo was definitely not boneless, so avoid that if fish bones are a problem for you. That said, the taste was on point! Not too weak, not too strong, but just right. I enjoyed it very much; it just shouldn't have "boneless" in the name. And the portion was generous - I ordered a Combination Plate with the chicken inasal and that fish stew, and I got close to a half chicken and (it looked like) most of the fish other than the head and collar. So that combo plate is an excellent value for the money. I agree with the reviewer who said the garlic rice could use more garlic, but overall this combo plate was a good time, and I made two meals out of it.
The Suman Sa Lihiya could easily be split between either two or four people. Definitely too much for one person to eat in one sitting. It comes with toppings/dippers of a brown sugar based sauce and some shredded coconut. This seemed to be the most "basic" flavor of suman from what I could tell, and I liked it, so I'll be trying other flavors.
The Lumpia Sariwa pictured here was fresh and seemed well executed. It turned out not to be a wow for me, but I could tell it was a matter of "I don't particularly care about this dish" rather than anything wrong.
Overall, as you can see there were some minor imperfections, but overall it was very worth it, and I will be trying more dishes here. This was my first time trying Filipino food, and I'm glad I picked this place. "
"
First things first, the crunchy pork belly was a game-changer. The moment I took a bite, I was greeted with a satisfying crunch that gave way to tender and succulent meat. The flavor was out of this world, with a perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet notes. Each piece was expertly cooked and seasoned to perfection. It was like a party in my mouth!
Now, let's talk about the tocino sweet pork. This dish was a delightful explosion of flavors. The pork was incredibly tender and had a beautiful caramelized glaze that added a touch of sweetness. The combination of the savory meat, the sticky glaze, and the fluffy rice was pure magic. And let's not forget the perfectly cooked eggs on top, adding a creamy richness to the dish.
The pork belly was beautifully arranged with a garnish of fresh herbs, while the tocino sweet pork was served with a side of sunny side eggs and fresh tomatoes that added a tangy contrast to the sweetness of the meat.
I can't recommend Imas Kitchen enough. If you're a fan of crispy, flavorful pork belly and mouthwatering tocino sweet pork, this is the place for you. It's a culinary adventure that will leave you craving for more."

"La comida sabe rico, pero lamentablemente mi pedido llegó completamente diferente a lo que ordené. Pedí dos almuerzos diferentes con frijoles y papas fritas, y recibí dos iguales. Además, pagué por un churro de arequipe que nunca recibí. Al llamar al restaurante me informaron que no tenían frijoles ni papas y que simplemente no habían revisado bien la orden, pero nunca nos avisaron ni ofrecieron una solución. Staff is super friendly too. Highly recommend! "
"The Combo #4 Vegetarian was delicious, however I overpaid considering that 85% of this dish was rice. There were barely any vegetables... The Peerakai Bolani perhaps didn't travel well as it arrived to me absolutely soggy with grease, but then again all of the food was excessively oily. It also seems I overpaid for this, as they were hardly filled. I had a late order, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Great flavors, poor execution. Better luck next time?"

"Chicken was tasty and had a good char. The rice and peas hit the spot. The cabbage was good but could've done with more seasoning. Portion size was excellent. I'd definitely order again. I was excited to try Ting but I didn't get it. My fault for ordering so close to closing I suppose."
"I ordered takeout from Ja’Grill and it was delicious. I was nervous because I have been eating authentic Jamaican food my entire life so I wasn’t sure if it was going to be as good. The food was ready really quick within 10 minutes so I thought it wasn’t going to be good or taste reheated.
However, everything was actually was hot and fresh! I really enjoyed the brown stew chicken. Lots of great flavor. Will definitely be coming back!"

"The Puff Puffs are perfect everytime! We love the Jollof Rice, Fried Rice and Goat Meat - the meat is prepared so cleanly and all the food is so high quality. The Meat Pie & fish rolls taste just like they should! "
"Jollof rice was soft and soggy, Goat meat was hard, overcooked and bland, chicken was bland with NO seasoning whatsoever. Out of everything the plantain might have been the worst. I could handcount the number of plantains (WHICH WAS 5 DOLLARS) and they were so thin it felt like I was eating a paper towel. Would not touch this Restaurant even if they offered me a meal for FREE. High prices for low quantity and even lower quality "

"Vegetable Paella - Medium was super good. Full of flavor, very generous portion. Will try other paellas:))"
"This restaurant is only good if you go in person. If you do take out, be prepared for significantly smaller portions (salad for example) , the bread for the tomato con pan was stale. The lamb skewer only came with one when pics adverised two. The food is good but to get your money's worth or full value, go in person as it is not the same value for takeout. "

"I think this was really good! It was the perfect price and the portion was really big . The only thing I would have liked is if they would have sent a small tikka masala sauce on the side instead of the two sauces they sent. Those two sauces didn't go well with the burrito & it was kind of dry. But overall would order again and it is a great value for the cost."
"the NAAN was amazing and perfctly cooked . But the paneerPANEER TIKKA MASALA had almost n paneer , it was just sauce. only 5 small pieces of paneer. Moreover I ordered a spicy curry and got mild ccurry instead. Would not order again"

"Really solid Nigerian food. The whipped okra soup was flavorful with fresh fish and good spice level. The dark fufu was smooth, sticky, and not too sour — perfect texture. Portions were generous and the food tasted authentic and homemade. Definitely one of the better African food spots I’ve tried on the road."
"This was my first time trying whipped okra stew. I must say I'm absolutely hooked!! My daughter and I found out about Nigerian Kitchen two years ago while walking through the Uptown area. My daughter tried the egusi and I had the goat pepper soup as well as their pounded yam. We knew then, that we would be "Forever customers". They are consistent in proportion, attention to detail and service. I enjoy the authentic flavor and the love put in every dish!! I thank you for talking with me about my order and making sure it was so delectable!! I ordered fish and goat with my whipped okra. The goat was tender and the fish was cooked just right. This dish has a slight kick, (I love heat) but it goes great with the pounded yam.. Chef's Kiss!! I will be back at the end of the week!!"

"ALWAYS EXCELLENT. ALWAYS."
"Nile of Hyde Park misses the mark where it matters most. The chicken shawarma was dry and lifeless, the chips that came with the shawarma were stale, and the bread for the soup arrived still sealed in its plastic packaging. The rice was so over salted, it drowned out every other flavor. The lentil soup was merely passable.
The only redeeming dish was the kifta kabob, which was tender and properly seasoned. One well-executed item couldn’t rescue an otherwise careless meal."

"The Asun melted in my mouth, and was delicious......the jollof rice was also amazing, it wasn't hard as a bullet, or lacked flavor/spiciness unlike the others l have eaten from other nigerian restaurants. "Relleno de Mofongo pork inside is very tasty😋"
"Secondly we ordered a mofongo w the cheese sauce and carne frita w extra carne and specifically put NO LETTUCE due to the viruses going around on lettuce. The food... served on a bed of lettuce and no cheese sauce which we paid extra for. The carne was tough and there were tons of pieces that were mostly bones.
We also ordered a jibarito w arroz con gondules. The jibarito was borderline burnt but still floppy and soggy. The rice had good flavor but then I bit into a bone in the rice.
We also ordered tostones which were absolutely burnt to hell and also soggy and cold.

"Absolutely everything was delicious! Chicken Jalfreizi was fantastic. Chicken Momo Chilli Fry [8] was so tasty. This was our first time trying Cumin and we cannot wait to visit in person. "
"Sadly, the taste was very bland. The Vegetable Samosa was quite good, but the chutney didn't have a nice kick to it. The Chicken Biryani had little flavor, and the Dal Makhani was lifeless. Even the Garlic Naan wasn't garlicky. I had high hopes for Cumin, but I will not order again. There are much better options with way more flavor."
