"Laying it down for yall. This is amazing. You bite into the General Tsos Chicken 左宗棠鸡🌶️(午) and it's actually chicken! I'm glad this place doesn't use a ton of flour or oil either. Spicy is mild/medium and doesn't hurt my tongue.
The chili oil wontons are good, flavorful, and full of meat. The wonton skin is kind of thick and mushy, but honestly the sauce makes up for it.

Ma Po Tofu Pork 麻婆豆腐 because not only did the container leak super, super bad all over everything in the bag, but it also soaked my white counter top in super oily red sauce even through multiple layers of paper towels and I didn't enjoy cleaning that up at all. Pretty sure the container was busted, but I didn't check before my partner threw it away. The taste of the dish doesn't justify the mess it made.

For me, most of the time mapo tofu dishes in SF are meh but this MaPo tofu was FANTASTIC. On point flavor and sauce and texture -- pairs beautiful over rice.

"Ordered via DoorDash. The dasher had quite a few drop-offs along the way, so my food arrived quite late. The dish was sadly barely warm by the time I received it.
Today, I ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken with a side ofJasmine Jasmine Rice (Large)
TLDR - food was tasty, but the value not not quite there. It's quite expensive for such a small portion.
For an la carte dish, I was disappointed to find the portion size of the sweet and sour chicken to be rather small, considering it's 20 bucks.
Even more upsetting is the "large" jasmine rice that is noted on the website to feed 2-3 people. That carton is tiny (like the size of a baseball?) and can only be considered a maximum of one person's portion. It cost me $4.40 to get the large rice. I finished the entire tiny carton in one sitting and still felt unsatiated. I cannot fathom what the "small" jasmine rice entails if what I got was the large size.
OK, now that I listed my disappointments, I will have to admit, the food was good. The sweet and sour chicken, though lukewarm by the time I got it, was still slightly crispy at the edges. The sauce was perfectly sweet-tangy and enveloped the meat and veggies. The idea of charring the fresh (not canned) pineapple was an excellent touch and helped emulate the taste of a smoky wok. It was very delectable. I only wish I had more to eat.
The rice, though the portion was sadly pitiful, was fluffy, soft, and fragrant. It paired well with the chicken.
Today's order to me really felt more like a 3.5 stars. I didn't even get utensils, even though I had requested some. Sigh...The food was tasty, so round up to 4 stars."
"Mamahuhu got me hooked with their Mapo Tofu years ago; I can attest that the veggie option is as good as the pork one. First time trying the Hot & Sour Soup (Small). A good portion and flavor. Not too spicy, just a gentle warmth and great classic texture. First time with the M.S.G Chicken too: i think the flavor is really good and savory, but to compare to a more nostalgic American-Chinese restaurant, this could be a bit more generous. The crust and flavor was great, but I'd have a hard time sharing this across more than two people. Otherwise, super fast and the quality was really solid."

I used to order from YGF because I liked their malatang . It was tasty and affordable. But lately, the quality has really gone downhill. I paid $18 and got three pieces of beef, one slice of potato, two bok choy, three tiny pieces of Chinese cabbage, two pieces of tofu, one shrimp, and mostly noodles. Even when I ordered 1 lb for $15, I used to get way more food than this. This is definitely not worth it anymore."

What's impressed me is they do take time to package everything so well !
