"There were definitely some positives here, but overall I left feeling like the price didn’t quite match the quality.
The biscuits were huge and very soft, which I liked. They tasted a bit like canned or pre-made biscuits, but not necessarily in a bad way. The eggs were cooked fine, though I think they could have benefited from a little more seasoning, especially some salt and pepper.
The home fries were one of the better parts of the meal. They had a nice crispy exterior while still staying soft on the inside, which was done really well.
The mushroom gravy was where my opinion started to split a bit. It was noticeably sweet, and personally I tend to prefer mushroom gravy that leans more savory with a little spice. That said, I recognize that’s subjective because my wife actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I found it paired better with the potatoes, while she preferred it with the biscuits.
The coffee was just okay, nothing particularly memorable either way.
The cheese grits unfortunately were not for me at all. They tasted very heavy, almost as if they had been made with a lot of milk or heavy cream, and the texture and flavor just didn’t work for my taste.
Overall, I don’t regret giving this place a try, and there were certainly things I enjoyed. However, for the price point, I expected a little more consistency in quality across the meal."
