The Crunchwrap Supreme, Nacho Fries, and Baja Blast were all excellent! The Crunchwrap was hot, fresh, and perfectly toasted with a great crunch on the outside and flavorful seasoned beef, nacho cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream inside. The Nacho Fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and came with plenty of warm nacho cheese for dipping. The Baja Blast was ice cold and the perfect drink to go with the meal.
The portion size was satisfying and everything arrived fresh and exactly as ordered. The quality and taste were outstanding, and I would absolutely order this meal again. "This review is only for the Fair Oaks location. I've been going to Uncle Julio's for 20+ years at nearly all of the locations in the DMV area. The food is consistently subpar relative to other locations and is easily the worst by far. The soft tacos always come soaked, the portions for sides are smaller than what the other stores offer, and the meat is often overcooked.
I've ordered from this location 5+ times across the last year hoping things would change. Unfortunately, it's only gotten worse each time. Really disappointing especially considering it's my favorite TexMex chain. Don't bother with this location. Hope they make changes in the kitchen. "

"I got the Chicken Burrito . I was a little disappointed in the limited number of toppings that can be added onto the burrito itself, but it was pretty good sized as it was. I got it with onions, cilantro, and tomato on the sandwich itself. Farther down the ordering page, there were more Extra Items. The photo showed a plate of several by themselves, as sides. I hoped they might make it onto the burrito, but they didn't. The extras were lettuce and refried black beans that came in their own tubs. Unwrapping the burrito, it was easy to see WHY they came separately. The flour tortilla wrap was pretty full. It's generous for the price, and mine was pretty tasty. There was also a small tub of something I suspect is hot sauce. I chose not to wrestle with my food, and didn't attempt to add on the extras and sauce. I ran out of hungry before I ran out of burrito; so I'm going to use the remains, extras, and sauce to make a 2nd, smaller burrito tomorrow with my own tortillas. 😊"
