"Really disappointed with this biryani. The masala was way overpowering — completely drowned out any actual flavor of the rice or meat, just an overwhelming punch of spice with no balance. The meat itself was the bigger issue though — it had an off, stale smell that put me off eating more than a few bites. Definitely didn't taste fresh.
On top of that, this didn't look anything like a proper dum biryani. No visible layering, no signature aroma or texture you'd expect from something actually cooked on dum — just looked like regular masala rice mixed with meat. "I always order the Dinner for One and cannot recommend a better value meal on Door Dash. $6 Curries always delivers the best Indian food, the menu is simple but the taste is anything but. Badam Halwa was the same, microwaved so much it was split grainy and oily - and when it cooled down it was totally solid like toffee from being so hot. Nuggets and chips were okay but five nuggets and a huge portion of cheap chips to make it look like more. I don't believe anything is made fresh."

"Have ordered from here for years- before it was named D'Tandoor, when my extended family visited- and the Makhani/ Butter Chicken was the one food (of anything in her life) that my Grandma ever loved enough to have seconds of. Since then, I've introduced this restaurant to my partner and since the first time he requested Cheese Naan instead of plain naan (which is also delicious), we are especially hooked. Favourite dinner ever. Both the regular and the large sizes are enough for multiple serves for at least two people, sometimes more- same with the Cheese Naan but that doesn't last as well because it ends up getting devoured far too quickly. Makhani, korma, Dahl and saag are our favourites, but we will forever come back here for as long as we can for the delicious, creamy Butter Chicken and the cheesy naan (different to paneer naan but they have that too).
