Finally tried it but I'm not sure if it was just an off day or if this is the way they usually make their items - the donuts were so heavy with oil they smelled of oil and they were almost wet inside. Perhaps we got a bad batch or it sat in the oil too long or something but given the size of the donuts and the price, I don't believe we'll be back. The drinks were fine for drinks? The Nitro Brew had no ice at all, the Iced Tea had about a tablespoon each of ice. They tasted fine but weren't exactly cold enough from the store."

That simple choice alone goes to show the care and forethought put into the food at this food. Most places dont care enough to give that choice, its about profit... This establishment breaks from that and provides quality on both fronts. The fresh Jalapenos felt like biting into a raw Jalapeno off the vine after being chilled in ice water, absolutely fantastic on the Yard Dawg, while the pickled Jalapeno I put on the 1/2 Pound Mushroom Swiss Burger had the right amount of bite without an overwhelming flavor.
As for the Loaded Spuds, I got about 40% more than I expected from competition for that price point, which is crazy, and all with that same care for ingredients.
Keep up the hard work, we will DEFINITELY be ordering again, and soon!!"

Portion on my meal was good, but looked like it was thrown around, taken out back and jumped. Sundae was delicious, taste of everything was good, I can't hate on the taste of the fries cause they're fresh and snappy, the dogs were good, buns got a wee bit soggy? It's aight though. "This was my first time ordering from The Human Bean and I'm giving it 3 stars. The Chai Latte was delicious, as well as the Egg Bites . However, I was disappointed in the Americano . It arrived lukewarm and I am not very far away. For all the flavoring I added, it just tasted like plain coffee and I had to add Splenda to it. The Bacon, Gouda & Egg Ciabatta was good after I added salt and pepper ( there wasn't any seasoning on it). It was good, but really small Egg and obviously just 1 bacon strip cut into 2. It was mostly bread. Even though the ciabatta bread was delicious, it's not a good value for the money, due to it's small size and small quantity of fillings. The Muffin Tops is a good size( didn't try it yet, so can't comment on taste). Sorry this is so long, but I will give this restaurant another try in the future and see if it's any better the second time around."
