"My daughter and I LOVE the assortment. There's stuffed squash or stuffed peppers, kibbee, rice pilaf, grape leaves and stuffed cabbage rolls with green beans (or Lima beans). It is always fresh and so delicious. We have to get a large one so there is plenty left over for us to split for the next day and even the day after. The restaurant gives us plenty of bread so that we can stuff it with all that tasty food. I have never received anything from Phoenician that wasn't good. "

"You can tell immediately the quality of the food is excellent. I'm really glad this place is in Lowell. My Mango Lassi was great and the crinkle-cut fries were delicious which is very rare for crinkle cut (they can sometimes taste really mealy and gritty, but not these!). The only thing was that I was expecting more flavor from the lamb gyro. I'm assuming the "white sauce" is supposed to be tzatziki, but then that sauce should have more bold flavor with salt, lemon, cucumber, garlic, etc. I want to stress that the gyro was still VERY GOOD. When I bit into the gyro it immediately reminded me of the gyro aroma and flavor. I just wanted the sauce to have that bold tzatziki flavor and not just taste like sour cream or something. I will definitely give it another try because I know even excellent quality can be a bit bland if one ingredient got missed or wasn't included enough."

I asked for the bacon well done, it wasn't. I paid extra for the home fries to be cooked with veggies, and also asked for them to be crispy, and those weren't honored either. Fairly disappointing overall, but it'll do in a pinch. Not sure I'd order again."

"As you can see, they only give you half the bowl of Ndole which is quite annoying. Food is good, but the portion are extremely small. I ordered from this restaurant various times, and even spoke with the owner/manager about it, but nothing. I love Ndole and my brothers and I grew up eating it every day. Every 2-3 weeks, I drive over 46 miles, and have to pay for TWO orders of it just so l can have enough of it for dinner, and yet... it's still not enough. My wife thinks me paying $55 for a solo dinner is nuts and she's right, but I keep on coming back for more because the Ndole is delicious."
