The dolma was only 4 pieces, but they were high quality pieces and wouldn't have it any other way. The eggplant dip with the bread was excellent as well. Kabob Place Mediterranean Grill in Turlock is a hidden gem! We ordered the Combination Plate with the Shish Kabob and Lula Kabob, and it was absolutely delicious. 🤤 The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The saffron rice, grilled tomatoes, peppers, and fresh onion salad were all outstanding. The portions were generous, and every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh. Friendly service, clean restaurant, and excellent value. I’m definitely coming back to try more items on the menu. If you’re looking for the best Mediterranean food or kabobs in Turlock, I highly recommend Kabob Place!"

I felt like the rice was good; maybe just a little bland and there needs to be an option to order extra sauces (the orange sumac? Sauce is AMAZING; need more of that!) or to get a side of pita bread and hummus; also an option for water bottle or sugar free drink. I did like the Palestine orange soda. It would also be nice if there was an option for something like a grilled chicken salad. I thought the chicken was tasty but also a little bit dry. However, the beef was delicious. I ordered one regular beef bowl and one chicken bowl and I felt like both were pretty good. I would also say that I would give them extra points just for being a very small local business versus a chain. I'm always rooting for a smaller business to be successful. I would say that the quality is there. I would like to see more more cucumber and tomato in the bowl, maybe a little bit more seasoning on the rice. The only difference between the small bowl I ordered and the large bowl was that the large bowl is twice the depth and has double the rice. If you're hungry, that's a good value for another two dollars. However, the overall whole effect was enjoyable and a good value. Get dr I was at home so I tossed a couple of tortillas in the car toaster and made a couple of little wrap fajita tacos with it and it was super delicious as a whole. I would say it was pretty tasty. "I first tried PROTEINHOUSE in Modesto and was blown away. But this location was not nearly as good. I paid extra for avocado on my salmon bowl and the amount they added was minuscule. So tiny. How can they charge for that?
I also paid extra for additional Thai peanut sauce, and there was just a drizzle on top. No extra side, none on the vegetables. Also the sauce was bad- it tasted like peanut honey sauce- far too sweet. It was nothing like I remembered from the other location.
And the salmon in the Build It bowl was burnt. I usually love a nice char, but the taste was truly bitter and overpowering, and ruined the whole bowl. The Cucumber Salad, was a little sad, minimal flavor and didn't seem fresh.
I still rated them "liked it" because the (Kids) Chocolate Monster Shake was really good and less sweet than expected. And because I believe in the concept of this place and want higher quality and healthier restaurant options. I hope this location can get it together because if I had another disappointing meal like this I would not return."

"This is the real deal! I had the Chicken 65 Biryani REG. If you are a Desi missing street food back home, one order of this will quell your cravings for a week, hopefully. If you are " medium spice" person at a Thai restaurant, you will do fine with the heat. If you lean towards, mild-med, I suggest having yogurt on hand. But do eat soon after delivery. The basmati rice is steamed, so it's fluffy and carries the taste of the curry beautifully on each grain. The Chicken is tandoori chicken basically and then fried; yumm! Why it's called " 65," I need to google that next. "
