"Vezir's kitchen is authentic and fresh -- makes me miss Turkey...Chicken Adana Kebab is tender and delicious! (Pilaf rice was a bit too salty, but still good) Appreciated the small side salad and sauces. Lentil soup is perfect with freshly baked Turkish pide bread. Tamek slightly sweet sour cherry juice is a fave. Will most certainly order again!"
"Vezir is honestly THE BEST food - every single thing I have ever ordered. There has been amazing. I've been ordering there for over a year. The hummus is incredible. The stuffed grape leaves are out of this world. The kebabs are fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is my all-time favorite place to eat from."

"It's just as I had remembered it! It's as if I ordered it from Istanbul. Not greasy and none of that sauce stuff. Fries inside as it should! Its filling, portion is good, pair it with ayran drink. It's a must try! "
"I love the food in this store and order a lot, but I just ordered Doner Over Rice and they delivered doner with no rice. This happened once again before where they delivered different things than I ordered. I know the store gets busy but i wish they could pay more attention to the doordash orders. My son is sick and he wanted to eat doner with rice which he couldn't get. Disappointing."

"I was under the weather, and figured Sopa de Pollo / Chicken Soup was the right move. I looked around and figured I'd try Costambar since it was close and relatively quick. I have genuinely never had a better chicken soup in my life. I don't even like yucca, and this worked incredibly well with it. Honestly, better than most sancocho I've had. it was flavorful and the consistency of sancocho, but with its own direction and a few noodles."
"I paid $16 for a sancocho it was good but the container you guys give it in i barely get any soup because if the meat , the bones, the potatoes etc. basically it was $16 wasted for barely any soup. When i threw it in the plate it was barely anything but meat and vegetables. This is not worth $16 st all $21 with service fee smh"

"zucchini pancakes were an item I've never ordered before-- they were awesome. spicy vegetables which I think is traditionally called acili ezme is amazing when you add a dollop or two or three on your other dishes or just for dipping your bread. I always order the spicy veg, chicken shish, lamb shish and either the shepherd or kilim salad."
"Delivery is always on time. Meat is always juicy and fresh. Even the rice is so perfect and yummy. I mostly get the chicken sis and the lamb sis sometimes. Acili Ezme (which is like a roasted red pepper salsa type spread- little spicy) and the lebne are great if you mix it up with the rice and the meat and the salad. Highly recommend the shepherds salad and the nomad salad. Just an fyi- the nomad has little bits of pickles and lots of walnuts. These are pluses for me but may not be for everyone. Anyway I love this place. Very consistent. "

"I tried the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it was AMAZING!! Super tasty and creamy, the chicken had a great flavor as well and I loved that it was cut into thin stripes instead of big bulky chunks of chicken. I love pasta and I find that most places that serve fettucine alfredo make it very dry or too bland, but this one was just perfect. It was my first time ordering from here and I will definitely be ordering again!"

"I am originally from Turkey and very picky about what is marketed as Turkish food around here (even in Patterson and Clifton known as little Istanbul).
This restaurant is out of this world. The food reminds me of the best of the best in Turkey.
We ordered the package for two which came with so much food including salad, four cold one hot (the liver) appetizers, mixed grill (generous sampling of all they have to offer and the Adana, döner and the lamb shish kebab so tasty). I couldnt get to the chicken fast enough and lost it to my son who also inhaled the eggplant (he surprised even himself with that actually).
There is dessert which I was too full to taste.
Last but not least the still warm heavenly bread which I forgot to include in the picture.
I don't know how I missed this place before but I will make up for it. "

"Everything is fresh and delicious. The Greek salad is full of pump juicy tomatoes, tender feta cheese and crispy cucumbers.
There was a little confusion about the bubble bread. There was an option to add two eggs since I've never had this before I decided to try it. Restaurant called saying that it already comes with eggs and wanted to make sure that was what I intended to order. I explained that adding two eggs with an option on the app . We agreed to let it stay as ordered and yet I received no eggs. If I eat in the restaurant, I will have to order this again and see how it served. With that said it is still very good. "

Only thing I'd change is having Porta tape their pizza boxes and meals for security - just to have the added layer knowing it was not tampered with by the delivery driver"
"We usually really enjoy them but unfortunately there were no toppings on our $22 salad...it was just arugula. We searched the box, which is whybits pushed to the side in the pic. The pizza is alright, not what we've experienced before though...I'll give the benefit of the doubt and maybe they were busy tonight and just no attention to detail? Was just bummed because we were so excited for a great, fairly expensive meal. What we got was not great, missing things, and still expensive unfortunately. We did get the offer of a $6 refund on the salad, which still didn't really cover it."

"They're usually excellent with their orders. For some reason their Oxtail Beef tasted like jerk seasoning which is unusual AND on top of it I ordered a large and was literally given only tiny small oxtail with fat. "This place is as beautiful and the food is amazing! The chicken was so juicy and tasty. Plantains were fresh, perfectly salted, and crisp. I wish the rasta pasta was a little less dry. Overall, amazing and pretty plating, I didn't even wanted to ruin the presentation. "
"The Jerk Chicken had great flavor and a nice smoky char, but it was on the dry side, and chopping it up left a lot of small, tough, bony pieces. If it weren't for how many bony pieces I received, I'd say this was a good portion for the price.
The rice and peas was a real letdown. It tasted completely unseasoned, and I unfortunately got stuck with clumps from the bottom of the pot that were dry, mushy, and devoid of any coconut or herbal flavor. The house jerk sauce had a decent tang and helped rescue the dry chicken, but overall, it missed the mark.
Would I order again? Maybe, but there are better places for jerk chicken so not anytime soon"

I paid for large lobster tails, got small ones.... they're half the size of the large ones so when the price isn't adjusted accordingly it's annoying... will still order from here but the order isn't ever quite right... even when I paid $500 for a cake for my daughters first birthday they got the design and fillings all wrong. "This place is totally underrated on here -- rated much better online by the way -- but every time I've ordered, we are impressed with the food. I absolutely love the steak burrito, it is my favorite item. It's always fresh, I like to get a side of guacamole to add to it. The prices are reasonable, and they do well with special requests. The green sauce is so good, not spicy, but they have the red sauce for that kick if you're into it. Nachos are great too, rice and beans have plenty of flavor - will continue to order."
"Portions are small for the price & putting large pieces of lettuce so it gets soggy in a burrito is a crime."

" Tom Yum Fried Rice was really yummy! Not Thai spicy as mentioned but it was spicy enough :) Chicken Gai Satay was tasty too! "
"The pineapple fried rice with chicken is extremely spicy, we ordered 3 of them. Had 3 small pieces of chicken, one chunk of pineapple, 1/2 of a cashew and many many red peppers. I would not recommend this We had to throw our food away that was over $55 worth of pineapple chicken fried rice food The cost of the food is expensive. My total order was over $200 and no one liked their food. What a huge waste of money. "
