"Wow! I've driven by Frontier Burger many times, but had never tried it. We wanted "wood or charcoal grilled burgers" specifically, so we tried it, and were very happy with the results! The Patty Melt toast was thick, slightly crisp on the outside, and fluffy inside, and the burgers are the perfect size, and have an incredible flavor you can only get from grilling! The bacon cheeseburger had crispy bacon, and the grilled chicken sandwich was flavorful and juicy, too! The crinkle fries had that extra crispy outside (crinkles give it more surface area), and they were fluffy inside and the chili cheese fries were nostalgic -- real shredded cheddar cheese (not that weird cheese sauce), and the homemade chili was perfect! We added some jalapeños that added the perfect amount of kick! We ordered for pick up, and decided to go thru the drive through, and were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and caring attitude of the staff. All of the food was hot and fresh, and we ordered a few desserts we can't wait to try! We will definitely be back! Oh, we love the history of this place, dating back to 1947! "I was really disappointed with my experience at Willie's Grill & Icehouse. The food arrived cold, which already set the tone for the meal. The Chicken Tenders were extremely thin and dry, almost like they had been sitting out for a while. The Bacon Willie Burger was also underwhelming, it had maybe five tiny chopped pieces of bacon on it, which barely counted as a topping.
To make things worse, the Peach Cobbler was somehow watered down and just plain gross. I’ve never had cobbler with that kind of texture before.
For the price they charge, the quality just isn’t there. The portions and preparation simply don’t match what you’re paying for. Overall, the food felt overpriced and not worth what was received.
Honestly, you’d probably have better luck saving your money and getting a more satisfying meal at Dairy Queen."
