what's bad: The ones with cheese are just an enormous amount of cheese no other fillings pretty much - so much fatty plasticky cheese that it's hard to stomach. The ones with meat are good but a bit dry and would benefit from some cheese to balance the ingredients. Because my overall meal was about 85% dense cheese, rating 2 out of 5. If the filling combination ratio / balance was fixed, it could be a five. thank you!"

First, my yuca fries order was supposed to come with 8 pieces and only came with 6, yet I was still charged full price. Then the tostones dish that was supposed to come with slow-braised beef was sent with pork instead. I cannot eat pork due to an allergy, so that’s not just disappointing — it’s a serious mistake.
The presentation looked awful. The food was thrown together, soggy, messy, and honestly looked unappetizing. The dessert looked nothing like the photo advertised online. It was missing toppings and looked old, like it had been sitting out all day. I honestly didn’t even feel comfortable eating it because it did not look fresh at all.
For over $75, I expected much better quality control, accuracy, freshness, and presentation. There are so many other places with better food, larger portions, and better service for less money. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant at all."

In addition to being excellent at cooking jerk chicken (get the West Indies Plate), I think the chefs here really excel at finding flavorful food combinations above anything else. My partner usually gets the West Indies Sandwich but got the Trini Po' Boy this time, which is a different flavor combo entirely, and they really did make it great. (The West Indies Sandwich is still his favorite, but he was happy to eat this - and he can be picky!) The only thing is, they removed Maduros from the menu on DoorDash and it is devastating!! The Latte was good, but it was just a solid cup of coffee. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely enjoyable.
The Caprese Sandwich was good as well, though I found it a little salty for my taste. That said, the portion size was huge, making it great value for the price and more than enough for a satisfying meal.
