Egusi was great I added the catfish for $7.50, only got a small fillet in my dish wish it was more. The plantains were not ripe enough to be as sweet as i like. "Second time eating West African. This place is good, because not every dish tastes like goaty farm. I really liked the Chicken pepper soup and would definitely order it again. Great aromatic pepper flavor. But be careful if you add the spicy option because it makes it hot!. Okra was also a close second, good kick spice wise and fresh. The egusi had a funky gamey goat flavor but good texture. The ogbono was gross, tastes like slimy vomit. Pounded yam was good, more on the thinner sticky side. I would get the chicken and okra if you're new to this type of food."

"The Ayamase was awful. That's not even Ayamase. There were only 6 pieces of miniature meat (this includes tiny/ bite size kponmo (3), two pieces of beef, and an odd looking gizzard). The beef also tasted old/ not fresh: like it had been reheated more than once. The stew itself, was also just bad. It really didn't taste like Ayamase. It just was not good at all. It's not worth anyone's 24 dollars. I'm even scared to order anything else from here. Let's stop putting things in our menue that we can't make. Also the rice was obviously bottom pot smh. I'm so so disappointed in this restaurant. Don't put a price tag and not meet up to expectations or even bare minimum: that is called stealing. "

It's up there with the real good breakfast doners, that serve Coffee from the thick mugs from back in the day! They just need an option for creamer and sweetness, or sugar.
