But the shrimp, the poor poor desiccated shrimp. Cooked into utter rigor mortis, only about 2/3 of the platter were edible at all. The other 1/3 were attempting to mimic tombstones or attempting to develop skills in tooth breaking.
The edible 2/3s were far from good. They were dried out beyond recognition but not quite to the point of being likely to cause injury. flavor, aside from some being randomly hot and spicy, was pretty much nonexistent. The flavor was completely cooked out of these shrimp.
Adding insult to potential injury was the matter of the sauces. I only got 1 of 2 ordered."

It's so yummy! I ordered the blueberry syrup caddy, but it didn't come in a syrup caddy...it came in a small container. I was under the impression it would come in a caddy due to it advertised that way. I thought other people should know that. A syrup caddy would have more syrup in it than the container. I thought it was like how Chick-Fil-A is when they sell their 8oz bottles of their sauces. (Which I also buy sometimes through DoorDash.)
Overall the food never fails! It's always delicious and the only issues I ever have are forgetting stuff like sprinkles, icing, and whipped cream for the pancakes I order. The cupcake pancakes are supposed to come with all of that, and they don't always come with the toppings. The chocolate pancakes with chocolate chips are fine without it, since my 3 year old will still eat them and doesn't know it's supposed to come with whipped cream. However, my daughters get upset when their Cupcake pancakes don't come with sprinkles, icing, or whipped cream. I buy 1 order of the cupcake pancakes, then split them up between my 2 daughters. The children's pancake breakfast doesn't come with enough food for them and they always complain about only having 1 pancake. It's perfect for a toddler, but not my 7 (almost) 8 year old and 5 (almost) 6 year old. They usually only eat pancakes and bacon when I order from IHOP. So they're still hungry after only 1 pancake and 1-2 slices of bacon. I started to order a side of 4 slices, then split those between the kids. 1-2 is fine for my toddler, but my daughters usually want 2-3 slices of bacon.
My toddler will graze and it will last him until lunch. Unless he's just not wanting it at the moment.
The syrup caddy shouldn't be advertised as a caddy if that's not what it's supposed to come in. I was slightly upset when I saw that it wasn't in a caddy. But I don't think any of the issues that I've had deserve to take any stars away. The food was cooked fine and my order was correct. My Dasher was on time, my food was still warm, and they didn't do anything wrong so I also gave them 5 stars. "

"ordered shrimp n grits and bacon. It came with a biscuit as well. The food was good and I'd recommend it if you want to try somewhere new. I will say, however, that the shrimp n grits need a tad bit more flavor to it. It lacked seasoning. It was just simple to me. I've had the grit counter, bear e patch, early bird diner, metro diner, and a few other places shrimp n grits. each of them had a signature shrimp n grits that made me want to go back for more. This place didn't do that. I didn't taste anything special about it that made me want to run and tell people. Even the sausage in it lacked seasoning. Also, I only got 1 piece of shrimp, which was crazy for a shrimp n grits dish. They put more sausage pieces than shrimp. This was my first time trying this place, and I don't want to base their restaurant off of one order, so I'll order from them again in the future. If you're looking for flavorful shrimp n grits, I wouldn't recommend it here, but give them a try. You may like it."

"We had high hopes for the food - It smelled good but it fell flat after that. Food was fresh but lacked taste. Portions were decent size, but lacked flavor or were over salted. We ended up throwing away a lot of food because we couldn't eat it.
We ordered:
- Noah's Seafood Platter with collard greens
Deviled crab had no crab
Fried fish didn't have any flavor; didn't taste like fish at all, collards were salty and we couldn't eat them; shrimp and ousters were ok
- Grilled Salmon with Mac & cheese and sweet potato casserole; salmon was dry and lacked flavor, casserole was over done, Mac & cheese was dry
- Chucktown Chicken grilled, corn, and red rice
Corn was over boiled, chicken was dry and over peppered and salted (still trying to figure out what was "Chucktown" about it, red rice was alright but super dry if this was the first time ever eating red rice I definitely would never eat red rice again (fortunately from Charleston and have had awesome red rice at other places - this should not be the bar for red rice)
