However, the jollof rice was disappointing… My 12 yr old can make better in her sleep. It was undercooked (and I do not eat soft rice) and tasted like someone just threw some oil, red coloring, salt, and rice into a pot. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt that the order was later in the day, because for a place that makes such amazing Gbegiri & Ewedu, and had great reviews for their Jollof rice, this must be an anomaly. "First off, it is an, for me, expensive restaurant. however given it's location prices are probably right.
I ordered the Seafood Alfredo, and it was totally worth the price. The only thing I would change is to take the tails off the shrimp. I really don't like eating a great meal and having to stop to remove tails, lol. Then your fingers are covered in the best Alfredo sauce I've ever had, and I've had plenty from different resturants, lol.
From the moment I took the lid off and the awesome smell hit my nose my mouth started watering. Then my taste bugs thought they were in heaven with each bite.
i HIGHLY recommend you give it a try.
I did think the rolls that came with it were over cooked to a dark brown.
I also ordered the Beer Battered Onions Rings. I also thought they were over cooked to a dark brown. The onions were mush, but they were good enough to eat, I don't think I'd order them again. However, as a treat, I'd definitely order many times.
