Let me start off by saying, the Escovitch Whiting was fried perfectly!
The whiting is seasoned perfectly( not salty), was not overcooked at all, very much flaky and melt in your mouth!! And most importantly- IT IS NOT GREASY.
The Escovitch Whiting Meal comes with about 3 medium-sized strips of whiting, plus steamed vegetables, rice and peas plus a couple of fried plantains.
It is a good portion size for 9$, the fish tastes fantastic, the sides it comes with are always good and its an overall great lunch sized meal.

Now, the $20 fried rice. Yes, you read that right $20 for rice and eggs. No meat, no frills. Just rice. My wallet is still recovering.

They were delicious and for $3.00 you cant go wrong. But the Churrasco Salad for $25 was ridiculous. Some romaine and a few pieces of steak. Really tiny salad and definitely a rip off. I cant believe thats all the steak they put on there! And the Coconut Shrimp were inedible. They were hard and crunchy. I guess they were fully cooked and then battered and fried. And theres only 4 small shrimp for $15.00. Not at all what I've come to expect for this restaurant. I dont know if we will order from here anymore to be honest. "

"The portion was good but there was a buy 1 get 1 deal but they only gave 1 singular taquito de pollo instead of 3 (it's supposed to be 3 pieces in each order). But maybe that's good because the taquitos were not fresh anyway!! It was old meat on the side & inside was the normal color meat. The difference in color alone was not good, taste wasn't good either. The pupusas were the only good thing in my opinion.
