But it didn't matter because the meat was so tender and full of flavor I was like wow I think I found my new favorite carne asada.
I wish they had more variety in their menu. I would have liked chips and guacamole or something to start, but they didn't offer any appetizers at all. No desserts either. "My favorite burrito is the chile relleno. I was disappointed with the look, taste, and portion. First, the burrito wasn't tightly rolled or shaped like a burrito. Instead,it was over stuffed with rice and looked sloppy. Second, the rice and whole pinto beans needed seasoning. Finally, too much bland rice and beans overpowered the chili relleno.
Although this is not a glowing review, I will return. La Pinta is a wonderful cute pink restaurant. The staff are courteous and attentive. And I tried many other dishes - great and wonderful tasting dishes. La Pinta is well worth the visit."
