Expect it to be very heavy on the msg. I was pleased at the inclusion of Sichuan peppercorns, which add an upfront and unique dimension to this dish. The aromatics were a little overdone, but I can excuse that. The Wok Hei alone is evidence that this establishment employs highly skilled chefs. Tai Pan deserves 5 stars and then some. I ordered through DoorDash and was blown away from the moment the food arrived. Everything was piping hot, like it just came out of the kitchen—no sogginess, no cold spots, just fresh and ready to enjoy.

🌶️ General Tso’s Chicken – Absolute perfection. The flavor profile is rich and bold with just the right amount of heat. The chicken was tender inside with a satisfying crunch on the outside. You can tell they take pride in their cooking.
Even the sides were great — the fried rice was flavorful, not greasy, and the egg rolls were still crispy on arrival.
Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. Fast delivery, hot and fresh food, and truly exceptional flavor across the board. Tai Pan has officially become my go-to for Chinese takeout. If you’re thinking about ordering—do it. You won’t regret it."

"the TT3. Thai Tea Jelly / Tra Thai was really good. live the jellies in there. however, the HS3. Garlic Squid / Muc Rang Muoi was not really even edible. i LOVE Salt and Pepper Squid. I've gotten it many times from other restaurants and make it a bunch at home, this was just not good. the coating was flour-e (typically this is coated in starch), weirdly sweet, and greasy. it's fine if a restaurant wants to take their own spin on a recipe, but not if it makes it worse.
