"Jamaican Jerk Festival was super flavorful and seasoned. I ordered it with a side of rice but the dough festivals are enough to hold you over. Bun & Cheese was a pleasant surprise. Good balance of cheese with the spicy sweetness of the fruit cake. "
"chicken roti
sm rice&peas
ric and peas were dry with the peas tasting like pellets they were so hard....i had asked for a side of gravy, they wanted$2 for that so i declined
the roti was large, but also a bit too salty...the rice i can cook a bit to soften the rice and the peas....cant do anything about the salty roti, just eat small portions til its finished...."

"Food is always good Curry Goat portions and taste great and fresh.
Female workers are very respectful and polite! She even called to ask me if I'd want rice and peas because it's no more white rice . Order again and again"
"They're usually excellent with their orders. For some reason their Oxtail Beef tasted like jerk seasoning which is unusual AND on top of it I ordered a large and was literally given only tiny small oxtail with fat. No large sizes of oxtail and the value was nothing compared to the last time I ordered. Not pleased this time. I sure hope I don't have this issue in the future."

"This place is as beautiful and the food is amazing! The chicken was so juicy and tasty. Plantains were fresh, perfectly salted, and crisp. I wish the rasta pasta was a little less dry. Overall, amazing and pretty plating, I didn't even wanted to ruin the presentation. "
"The Jerk Chicken had great flavor and a nice smoky char, but it was on the dry side, and chopping it up left a lot of small, tough, bony pieces. If it weren't for how many bony pieces I received, I'd say this was a good portion for the price.
The rice and peas was a real letdown. It tasted completely unseasoned, and I unfortunately got stuck with clumps from the bottom of the pot that were dry, mushy, and devoid of any coconut or herbal flavor. The house jerk sauce had a decent tang and helped rescue the dry chicken, but overall, it missed the mark.
Would I order again? Maybe, but there are better places for jerk chicken so not anytime soon"

"First time trying Violets! The oxtail taste great! I hate when restaurants make it too salty, and this restaurant does NOT do that! They are flavorful, and they have that little sweetness to it that I like! Rice and peas were flavorful and fluffy, and the cabbage was great! the portions are also fair! They weren't skimpy on the oxtail Thank goodness!"
"They gave me oxtail gravy on my rice and peas without me having to put it on the notes for them to do so. I was happy. They did really good. I just wished they gave away more Jerk Chicken tho cuz two wasn't enough but overall, it was real good"

"Curry chicken (Large) was delicious. A little bit salty but it tasted fresh and flavorful. Portion size was enough to share. I also loved the Potato roti which was big enough for two as well. Chicken patty was flaky and moist. I love how consistent this restaurant is and how the food is packaged. Definitely order again"
"Jerk Chicken (Large) is a good portion, fresh and tasty. Jerk seasoning is spicy and I appreciate that it's served in its own sauce. Although the rice is flavorful so it doesn't need sauce. One thing I really like is that they give several slices of plantain. A lot of places treat plantain as a garnish and give 2 slices max. I still order Fried Plantain as a side, bc it is a great price for the amount. Its very consistent, in terms of quality and portion. The only thing is sometimes packaging spills a little. Not enough to soak through the bag if it's handled with care, but it would be good if they wrapped the container in plastic. I've ordered multiple times now and would def order again. Highly recommend!"

"Ate it too fast to take pictures, but... the Oxtail fell off the bone just like it should, and the rice and peas were delicious. It was a massive portion of food, too. Well worth the price.
The Macaroni & cheese wasn't creamy the way I prefer it, but it was cheesy and flavorful. All around -- very good, very filling."

"This was a very good sized portion of very good food. I ordered the ackee and salt fish breakfast plate that also came with 2 pieces of yams, some plantains and a boiled banana and dumpling. Ackee cooked very well with great flavors. Additionally I ordered saltfish fritters. They were tasty and big enough for a meal/ snack on there own. Lastly I ordered 2 more fried dumplings. This meal will last into lunch for me as well. I plan to order again, enjoy!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars!
The griot was delicious, perfectly seasoned, and crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside! The fritay was flavorful, fresh, and full of that authentic Haitian taste. 🇭🇹❤️ Everything was so good, and you can tell it was made with love. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone craving some good Haitian food! 😋🔥"
"So far I’ve ordered the bbq jerk chicken plate, the griot plate & today the oxtail signature plate. Each time the food was well portioned, good flavors and hit the spot. Although today I had an issue, the owner Lala resolved it quickly and pleasantly, which made me want to continue to ordering from her restaurant. Definitely give it a try!"

"Food is exceptional here! Always fresh, always flavorful and always delicious. My favorite on their menu is the fried turkey (well done) with brown rice and beans. The large comes with potato salad and if I order the small, I just add the potatoe salad as an extra. I order from this restaurant 2x a week and I tell everyone about them.
Do not hesitate to give them a try! Also, if you need certain accommodations with your order, just give them a call directly after; to submit your request. This is a "Chef's Kiss" restaurant."
"First time and the rice and beans were delicious and comforting. The fish was a little salty. Also, this particular order i only received a fish head. I thought i was getting a whole snapper. That should be stated. I do not like fish head, but i ate it. The pate, was a delight. Yummy, flaky. I just ordered 8 more this Am. Thank you"

"I eat at a lot of places and this place is always my favorite. Everything is perfectly seasoned. They also add a citrusy sauce on top of the Fritay platters which makes it stand out from all of the other Haitian restaurants. The food has been consistently fresh for YEARS and the portions are good for the price. I will always order from here.
My only thing is on the DoorDash app it asks you if you want a side of fries or rice and I put a side of rice but I didn't receive it. Also, I asked for extra pikliz and didn't receive it and was charged for it. The food was good enough that I didn't even care but that's just something to consider if it's your first time ordering Haitian food. Everything was perfection overall."
"Good was amazing. The Pumpkin Soup really hit the spot on a rainy day! The Griot ak Diri Kole was cooked perfectly and the Legeme Militon ak Diri Nwa was super flavorful. The only down side was there were 2 massive bones in the Legeme Militon ak Diri Nwa. When paying so much it would be nice to have a full serving."
