"Let's start with the most important question. What do they use to make these churros stay so crunchy? I figured that by the time they arrived at my door, they'd be cold and probably not as fresh but went for it anyway. I've been to plenty of sporting events where the churros weren't fresh but still tasted good. If these were sold at any sporting event, I can promise I'd buy season tickets to those games!
We bought two items for the three of us. The 10 churros with sauce was so worth it. I thought that they'd come with the selected sauces drizzled over them, just like the pictures. Nope, they come on the side so your churros don't get soggy (like they ever could). It's the next day and we still have 5 left. There were 6 but I ate one right out of the fridge for pre breakfast. Still crunchy, even cold and a day old!
The strawberry churros weren't just as great. The toppings came on the side so we could dish them out when ready. I'm not going to lie, those strawberries were so good that I just ate them with a fork and didn't share. They were plain sliced up strawberries. No sugar or syrups added. I had some in another container but the strawberries were so tasty all by themselves.
I use food delivery a lot. More than I should. But never for dessert. Until now. I needed a seeet treat while watching the Mammoth hockey game and this place hit the spot. I can't wait for more churros down the road. Yum!"
