"I order from here multiple times a week because I love this place so much. 10/10. I've tried multiple things on the menu now and they're all phenomenal. By far the best Korean food around. No place comes close. Also, the service in person is excellent too if you dine in. All the servers are extremely kind and friendly. "this place is our favorite korean restaurant- not the new type fusion korean food- its like the kind your mom or grandma makes at home- we got the nengmyun combo- bibimnengmyun is basically a sweet vinegary red medium spicy sauce to mix with your noodles and garnishes. comes with nengmyun cold broth- ours was delivered slushy- it was so perfect. comes with all the banchan side dishes that we love (and we go to the restaurant to buy the banchans regularly as well) and the LA galbi or the marinated short ribs are pretty standard galbi marinade- tiny bit on the sweetside for my taste but galbi is sweet anyways. portion sizes are pretty good for the price. weve doordashed other restaurants and some give literally half to a 1/3 less with so so banchans. I ate spam musubis in other places and they were far more generous, tasted better, and the spam had a crisp for much cheaper! Take my word for it and save your hard-earned money for other places. If the restaurant is reading this, please make sure the spam isn't soggy and old as if it been lying there for many hours. Good food, but needs improvement on accuracy and customer service
First, note that Moonbowl is a ghost kitchen, not a traditional restaurant — so don’t expect a sit-down experience. That said, the Crispy Cauliflower Salad tastes absolutely amazing, and the flavor really delivers.
However, my order was missing the avocado I paid for — a frustrating oversight that’s hard to overlook when you’re spending $21.82 on a salad.
What really stood out (not in a good way) was the interaction at pickup regarding utensils. There’s no option to request utensils anywhere in the app, and when I asked the staff member, he actually claimed it was against the law to give any out. Not only was that explanation baffling, but he also ignored my attempt to show him there was no option in the app — only to turn around and hand me utensils anyway. A little common sense and basic customer service goes a long way. If you’re going to run a ghost kitchen, at least make sure the pickup experience isn’t this confusing and dismissive.
The food itself has potential, but these operational issues need serious attention."
